Black Screen when full screen....but only with some mods.

Hi guys,
I'm encountering a problem where, with some mods, I'm only able to play in Windowed mode.
The vanilla game, and the GP4 Central 1993 and 2018 mods, work just fine, but the 1994 mod and Kedy's 2002 mod give me a blackscreen at the main menu, unless I run in windowed mode, forcing me to use task manager to close.
This is consistent regardless of the resolution used, either in the F1Graphics.cfg or set in the mod's CSM menu.
I've noted that, when bringing up the Task Manager to exit the black-screened game, it appears at a very low resolution, 640x480 or so.

If anyone has a fix or suggestions, it'd be much appreciated.

Hm, take my 2002 mod, go to ...\GPSAVES\Carsets\F1 2002\Settings, open the CSM.ini, and put a semicolon at the beginning of line 55 (F1graphics=...).

Nope, no change.
Also of note; The game is loading as expected, I can hear the menu music playing.
I've also just tried installing the 1996 mod, and I get the same result here as well.
