F1 1997 helmets pack by BlackToof

Hello to all!

Today I release the first set of HD helmets for 1997.
This is the 1997 set of helmets made by BlackToof, a member of the RaceDepartment community, for AssettoCorsa.
I thank BlackToof who kindly gave me permission to convert his work for GP4!

1997 helmets pack

Includes Arai GP-5 jvinu2000 shape adapted for 1997 specifications by me. Thanks to him for giving me permission.
Williams and Ferrari drivers NOT included. Ask to jvinu2000.

Now includes full 1997 season set, except Williams and Ferrari.

thank you, but which shape from jvinu2000 exactly do you mean? because the driver_2 tex is missing for all the helmets and i don't which helmet shape uses only driver_1 tex

I think with any one, if you use one that requires driver1_2.tex, just a fictitious texture, I think.
Actually I would like to release an Arai GP5 shape of jvinu2000 adapted to the 1997 specifications, as soon as I can contact him I ask him permission to let me release it.

Depends on the mapping. His latest shapes (GP6, HP7, SF1, ST5) don't have a driver1_2 texture, but you can't really use them for '97. Also the lack of that texture caused extremely long loading times.

I'd have used Oggo's Arai GP3 shape for a '97 helmetset.

I had already thought about converting the textures for Oggo's Arai GP3 shape but I thought it was not suitable for 1997 because the shape was designed for 93-94 seasons.
Anyway I can do it, so let me know which shape you prefer that I convert them to, including the old shapes, for example that of Eugenio Faria.

Have any helmets been painted on Oggo's shape been released?

I do not think so, unfortunately
I would like to try to convert the 1993/94 helmets, sooner or later ...

Still better than something with winglets and HANS, that doesn't fit at all.

Unfortunately not. I tried to make one and I'm not happy with the result ...

However soon release the appropriate shape!

An update released at 1st post, same link.
Now includes Arai GP-5 shape by jvinu2000 adapted for 1997 specifications by me. Thanks to him for giving me permission.

I have not had the opportunity to try the shape in-game, It should work.

i don't undestand why people keeps complaining about second texture, it was fixed in all my shapes at the last versions

Hi,
the last version dosent work fine, i have only one driver_1.tex data, the top of the helmet dosent change, can i fix it?
