New DTM Sounds

So I created a new engine sound for the DTM cars yesterday and the guys that I showed it liked it

Just put the game_sound.bnk file in your DTM mod folder under Data\Sounds

Which DTM MOD is that ?

I made and use it for the 2015 mod but it can also be used for the 2016 or 18 mod. You can use it for every mod

However , I noticed that the MOD was modified , the drivers are different than the original ones . Of course you can do that for your private use but if you want to make and upload videos to YouTube you cannot do unless you have permission to do that. I did the MODs and , honestly , from my side you can do whatever you want but the MODs have works made by many different authors who don't necessarily agree to see their works published without their permissions . Hope you had got my point .

Permission just for videos, seriously? That'd be way over the top imo. As long as he doesn't post a link to the modified mod there shouldn't be any issue.

This is just my point of view , as I said above I really don't care about what he wants to do with the MODs . Just as an example , two works are there , the steering wheel made by AusDoug and the engineers made by AugustoGibim , no credits given to the authors .

I tend to agree with Tobias. Asking for permission to use parts or a complete mod is ok and common sense, asking the same for video footages is IMO going a bit too far. Don't forget this gives you a bit of visibility as well, which is a good thing to you.

Sorry. I didnt know that.... but I will credit them next time of course then. And if you want you can use my DTM sounds for your DTM mod of course. Maybe thats something what would maybe make the situation better ^^
