Nine months of gestation... and here is the big baby...;)
Believe me, these F... blue and red lines have been a pain to do....:-(

Like the last tracks I released, The DAT is based on F1 Virtual one nicely shared by PrBlanco last year.
I always trusted F1 Virtual's work which always provided very accurates DAT length, elevations, etc...
However this time there is a small error. Be aware that the Start line is not in the right position.
When I realized it, too much work was already done and I didn't have the "courage" to do it again.
As it impacts only the start of the race, I decided to leave it like it is.

I would like to specially thank:
Auscain, for the debugged cc-line,
Gap77 for some great textures,
AugustoGibim also for some great texture, a great animation of the Pirelli color adverts and for several 3D objects of the Pit Lane.

The graphical part of the track is very close of the maximum of vertices accepted by the game for a track (300 000) and has some textures in HR.
So if you want to reduce the size of the WAD (373 Mo) use Slimtex which will allow you to decrease the size of the largest TEX files
The track includes , also, my detailled 3D pit lane.

I plan to release soon, a version of the track like it was in January 2018 when I got the chance to visit it. No adverts/No garages/No crowns ;) / no stands, etc....

But stop the literature.
Find below the download link and some screenshots from my laptop, hoping that they will incite you to download the track.

Donwload link : [www.mediafire.com]

UPDATE 1: [www.mediafire.com]

It includes 99 TEX files updated and a new .GP4 file which fixes some mapping issues (text inverted) in the garages textures.
A huge thank you at GAP77 who updated these textures to bring them at the 2018 version.

To update your track, you have 2 options: (In case of..., Do a back-up of your current wad before)

1) extract the Wad file, add/replace the tex files and the .gp4, then re-built the Wad with you preferred tool

2) Use WadUPdater with the following way

- Browse and select the folder which includes the updated files (1)
- Browse and select the Wad file to update (2)
- Push the button "Update Wad" (3)

And that's it. Only a few seconds.

How do I make Paul Ricard work in the Indianapolis slot? What do I have to do and change? It is appreciated. Greetings.

Use GPxPatch by Renè Smith in order to use the track in whatever slot you want.

Congratulations Bernard, top quality work! :)

About the start-finish line, I didn't notice it was moved until today really. I originally used Google satellite imagery from May 2016 to build the .dat file, but even today if you open Google Earth the correct start-finish line isn't there yet. So it must have been something decided only a few weeks before the Grand Prix. The difference is around 160 meters.
