The messages come from the str menu file, so you only need to deactivate those (not the gpaedia gps files).
Rows 628 to 635 from "deutsch.str" where [NUL] stands for x015:

The str files did not change since the first gpaedia2018 release so I don't see any reason for a new error here.
I would like to reproduce the messages. Would you please tell me how exactly you get them displayed?

Only seems to happen with the 2018b files, also happened with the previous version already I found out.

As for the how, well I just start the game. Right at the start where I usually get the audio calibration message, I got this text instead.

Only seems to happen with the 2018b files, also happened with the previous version already I found out.

That's a useful hint which helped me finding an error in GPaediaMaker: the (empty) national adjective of track "none" did not have the ending character [NUL].
I have fixed this and created the GPaedia_2018 update again. Does it work for you correctly now?

I don't see any message after starting the GP4 program, but if it's ok now I don't mind.

Works perfectly fine now, thanks a lot! As for the message itself, it's normal that you don't see it. When you fire up GP4 for the first time after installing, you get to run the graphics calibration, and the audio calibration. For some reason, the messages for the latter show up for me on every start. Had that on my old PC already, until it was gone from one day to the other. On my new one (well, not so new anymore actually :D) I have it again. Doesn't have any effect except for the 2 extra clicks I have to do each time.

I have try to set compatibility windows 95

I try to do quickrace but the race doesn' t start and traffic lights reamains switch off

Hi, first of all great work, I really like the mod and how it looks.
I have few questions: there is a way to edit the HUD and the UI graphics? The speedometer is too "small" and the speed digits are too big, plus the time leaderboards in quali are covering the speedometer. I'm playing at 1280x1024 Here are two screens

Another thing: I'm using the 2018 physics linked in phantaman's signature: through GPx in CSM I selected the g3p physics file and I'm using the performance files I found in the archive. Are they compatible? (physics and performances I mean)

I also created a tracklist with TSM using the tracks I found in the spreedsheet linked somewhere here. Not 2018 versions but not too old (2011/2016, plus a 2018 Paul Ricard) at least I can run a championship mode this way

Mod v1.0 released in the first post

Yeah, I sort of forgot a bit about this. Anyway, here it is finally.

Changelog:
- Perfs up to Abu Dhabi
- Some new cars (Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, Sauber)
- Some new helmets
- probably some tiny stuff I forgot about


Important:
- Delete old version before installing
- Backup any files you've added yourself (pitcrews, helmets, etc.)
