Hi
Iam try to build the Avus German track.
The original track had 8km, my has 4km. Is there way to change the length without change the circuit shape?

Today I decide to release the Beta Version of Avus 1951, for todays German GP.
The circuit its 6,275KM long instead of 8KM, I run on the gpbuilder edges. I made the main tribune after the pits, the original track was main tribune in the back of the pits, I thing. :)
There are some versions for other games, but not one for 1951.
I thing the sudkurve is not bad at a lot of times because I didnt knew how she looks like in 1951 I had luck to saw a pic on ebay how she was, and I thing its not bad.
About the nordkurve: Be carefull in the left verges, cos if you go there, you say there. Welcome to 1951!;-)
I made some expriences with the shadows... Still a lot to do and to fix!

I think you'll have to rebuild the dat. Maybe you could convert your .dat to .gp4, enlarge the .gp4 to 2x its size, and then rebuild your .dat over it?

it is good idea.
I convet it to .3ds then i made 2x, like you said, and convert to .gp4.
When in gp4builder try to "get .dat layout from .gp4" it said: "sorry, but 'trackbase' object cant be found"

There is a bug in the pits: The crew dont come:). I realized when put the commands (F5) Bank description it makes very strange. And it has a Error (86) Direction is different from the track direction.
I made two times all new, Hockenheim2001 has base. The same error.

I still learning. I try for change the garage position in the magic data:

Player Garage Y Pos
AI Garage Y Position
Pit Y Position

And I change The Pits Start command Offset.

Nothing or almost nothing changed.
How can I change it?

No, the pitbank are Grass, the pits are tarmac

Is there a simple way to fix the Sector 0 - (86) Direction is different from track direction?

And when iam racing and the car goes to the pit end, it flys away, like it has kerbs or a wall. Is pitlane end altitude too high or too low comparing the track?
