Have you seen Paulo? In a few days we moved from an old-fashioned original font menu to the very latest fancy font. Show!

Hi Augusto, do you know if we can use a TGA in hi resolution (with the same aspect ratio of the original)? It would be great to have an hires 2018 font

I remade the font files at 1024x1024. It was good.
For some reason they are not working.
The files are grayscale and uncompressed RLE.
Perhaps there is something I am forgetting.

I don't have the file on hand, but I don't remember what the size was.

Hi Augusto, I believe that the gpf file has itself some parameters which in fact set the dimension of it. We know that default dimension of GP4 fonts are 256 x 256 pixels and we know that if you try to load throught GPI Browser a new font with different size (i.e 512 x 512) they are not correctly loaded by GPI Browser, and the generated gpf file is not good.
I tried to understand if in gp4.exe there is something related to the font dimension and it seems not. Then i tried to open an original gpf with an Hex editor and the structure of the file suggests me that maybe it is here the place where we have to investigate. But i'm not a programmer so I need some help.
I think that due to the fact that font files are "256 grey levels gpi files" ( ref. Lo2k post here ) there is surelly something to edit somewhere to "inform" GP4 that the font dimension is no more 256 * 256. Maybe @petrus can help us trying to understand if gpf files have themself that informations and may be hacked as done for GPI's (ref. Hi Res GPI & the GPH

Hello guys. We are going well beyond my skills (and I think many of us too), but if someone could do what Samuele talks about it would be a turning point. One more step towards a never achieved perfection. (I always hope that Google's translations are adequate for what I want to say).

Hello Samuele.
I exhausted my knowledge and went as far as I could.
I believe that the size limitation can be edited somewhere. Maybe even in the GP4 source code. This is beyond my knowledge.
The new generation can understand better. I'm getting a little old...
