Not enough time to change tactics in pits (when in race)

Hey guys! So I noticed this problem that if I want to change my tactics in the middle of the race (due to weather or track position etc) I don't get enough time to do it while in the pits. I tried pausing the game but the panel on the steering wheel then becomes unresponsive.

Yes, that's part of the game: You'll have to be quick. With little practice it might be possible for you to get this right, for sure!

Nevertheless, I wished we had a possibillity to determine the new tactics right on track before coming into the pitlane, but sadly Geoff Crammond did not implement a feature like this.
