Surely if someone is talking with Greg via email or FB, he could provide the links and commentary to the RD coverage, so the series can progress? A simple cut/paste and we are all moving again with the season.... might send him a FB message now.

I have sent Greg a message on FB offering to post any race coverage he has ready. We shall see what he comes back with.

Had to reset my computers date back to before the date that it says the certificate expires on to get in. As for the race it has been run and all screenshots sorted out, so all that's left to do now is to get it uploaded.

LoL, i had no trouble whatsoever here, just the first time the chrome blocked, but then I clicked on visit the website anyway and since then i can enter gpg withou any problems

I personally have no problems with the exception
Opera just says it might be a problem and offers a button to ignore it, nice and easy no problem at all

So because you didn't find how to add an exception to your browser, which is very easy to do TBH, you choose to come to an earlier date, which is a bit more complicated task to achieve, and more risky in the long run ? :-O :-o

No risk at all since I only had to change it back to the right date once I was done.

And it looks like the security certificate is now fixed up as I can get onto the site while on my phone.

Yes, the certificate issue has been fixed.

Here I was patting myself on the back for adding an exception for the site and someone goes and updates the certificate! Now I will never know if I was successful or not ;)

Part 1

Hello once again. We are back in Interlagos as we get set for the race start. Jalving was the one to secure pole for this race and will be hoping to potentially convert it into a victory, but standing between him and victory lies both the remaining 21 cars and the weather. Time to head trackside as the cars can be heard returning from the warmup lap.

Weather Report

Here we go. All the cars are now lined up and we are set for a start.

They’re off!

Jalving successfully converts pole into an early race lead, while Gilson moves into 2nd ahead of Elleker and Kederer.

Heading up to Turn 4 Gilson decides to try for a pass on Jalving.

It doesn’t work out for the SCR driver.

Kederer won’t be too impressed with having lost out the most out of the top 4 at the start.

Vilela currently sits in 6th. The local fans will be cheering him on for sure.

Greidanus has had a decent start to the race by moving up four spots from his starting position.

Elleker takes the fastest lap.

Scala goes for a move on De Bruyker.

And he succeeds in getting ahead.

Worseling pushes his way ahead of O’Neill at the first corner, leaving the Alpha driver with his hands full with the cars behind him.

Up front Gilson has his hands full defending from both Elleker and Warrington.

De Bruyker has lost another position to Keranen, and could soon lose another one to Hinz.

We have a car off the road, and it appears to be the Christel of Soutsen.

Replay shows that Soutsen went off all on his own.

He gets going again and no doubt will be frustrated with himself for throwing away what was a decent position within the points.

Jalving’s lead over Elleker is out to about 2s.

Warrington is hunting down Gilson on the run down the main straight.

He goes for his move down the next straight. We also get to see how the top 10 currently looks.

Warrington succeeds in making his move.

Further back Scala has managed to get ahead of Vilela.

Next up to attack Vilela is Keranen in the Snake.

It’s pretty close between the backmarkers.

Elleker again takes the fastest lap.

Russell gets a good view of the battle ahead of him.

Mills manages to get ahead of Greidanus.

From Pedersen’s view it seems Russell was also able to get ahead of Greidanus.

Silva looks like he is close enough to the back of the MAC to start thinking about where to make his move.

Let’s check out the current standings as we ride onboard with Jalving.

It seems the cameras missed Kederer’s move on Gilson.

Gilson tries for a move back on Kederer.

And the reigning champion succeeds in getting back ahead.

De Bruyker has lost another position. He’ll soon be under attack from Rodriguez.

Soutsen is showing great pace currently as he works towards getting back up through the field.

Mills is going for a move on O’Neill.

He can’t get the move done this time.

Russell has lost the position to Greidanus and could lose a few more really soon.

Another two positions lost for De Bruyker.

Elleker is doing all he can to try and chase down Jalving for the lead.

Silvestre has gotten ahead of Russell.

McClure is doing well so far inside the top 10.

Scala looks close enough to attempt a pass on the Mistral.

And the MTP driver gets the move done.

Further back Greidanus looks up the inside for a passing move on O’Neill.

He can’t get the move made this time around.

De Bruyker will want to try and get ahead of Worseling as the battle is for the final points position.

He won’t have to worry about what is behind him for awhile as Mills isn’t close enough to join in the battle.

On the main straight De Bruyker looks close enough to try for a move on the SCR.

He gets it done into Turn 1.

Pedersen has lost a position to Soutsen.

The move that De Bruyker made on Worseling looks to have left the SCR driver vulnerable on the run down the straight as Mills is now close enough to make a move.

The move ends up being a successful one for the MMM driver.

O’Neill is next in line to attempt a move on the SCR.

We can see the rear half of the top 10 all in the same shot.

Elleker has managed to close in more on Jalving.

As we head into our first break let’s take another look at the standings.

Part 2

Welcome back.

Vilela currently sits in 8th and .5s behind McClure.

Russell looks to have his hands full defending from Silva.

Silvestre goes for a move on Greidanus down the straight.

And he succeeds in getting ahead.

Greidanus remains close to the back of the MAC though which may set up a move later on.

Hinz has his sights set on Keranen’s 9th position.

Soutsen could be at risk of being passed by Pedersen soon.

Pitstops are now underway as the top 3 are all in for their stop.

In comes Rodriguez as well.

Jalving is forced to wait for Elleker to go by before being released.

Warrington ends up losing out to both Elleker and Jalving.

Silva is in.

Elleker rejoins ahead of Steer who attempts to get ahead of the AMR.

In comes Kederer for his stop.

Both Hinz and Mills are now in for their stop.

Kederer rejoins behind Warrington.

Greidanus and Steer are both in.

Pedersen looks close enough to Elleker through the corners.

He makes his move at the end of the straight.

And he succeeds in moving ahead.

More stops take place as both Scala and Keranen come in.

Pedersen and Russell come in for their stops.

It looks like the weather is changing for the worst as Greidanus has opted for what looks like Intermediates.

McClure is doing all he can to stay ahead of Vilela.

We have a yellow flag out again.

Here’s why it is out. Greidanus has spun at Turn 4.

Replay shows he was attacking Pedersen.

He wasn’t able to get enough space up the inside and ended up making contact with the MAC, leaving both out wide and off the track.

Pedersen continues on without losing any positions.

In come Soutsen for his stop.

The weather has indeed changed for the worst as the spray can be seen very clearly coming from the back of the cars.

More drivers are in for their stops.

Another yellow is out.

Greidanus has made heavy contact with the wall resulting in a wheel being torn away.

The replay shows that he went in on his own.

Not much in it between Elleker and Jalving.

The other AMR and Demon are also in battle as we see the confirmation of Greidanus’s retirement.

Both of the MTPs are in battle with each other.

Keranen is now the only chance at points for Snake.

Worseling is now in.

Jalving is not giving up in his attempt to get the lead back from Elleker.

Worseling rejoins ahead of O’Neill.

With all drivers having now made their stop let’s take a look at the current standings.

Time for our final break. When we return we’ll be going to the end.

DMR team boss screaming down radio....
"Who is the fool who didnt look at the radar, and fuel up the car for half a dozen more laps, to allow this rain to come in, see what happens to the track conditions??????!!!!!!!!!"

Part 3

Welcome back for the final time.

Soutsen looks close enough to the back of the Mistral to set up a passing move.

Mills is back in the pits. It looks like the rain has gotten worse to the point that those on Slicks will have to make another stop for Wets.

Soutsen couldn’t make his move at Turn 1 and now tries again down the straight.

This time he gets the move done.

The leading pack are all in. This will no doubt change the entire outcome of this race.

It’s Elleker who gets out ahead first, followed by Jalving and Warrington.

Rodriguez is in as well for a change to Wets.

Jalving rejoins behind Silvestre.

Soutsen, being on much warmer tyres, goes for a move on the Demon.

Jalving manages to defend his position.

Vilela gets a good view of the battle taking place ahead of him.

Hinz could potentially be in trouble soon as he is still on Slicks while those behind him are on Inters or Wets.

McClure goes for his move on the AMR.

And he easily gets it done before the corner. Behind them Vilela is going for a move on Scala.

The Demon driver succeeds in getting ahead.

Scala isn’t willing to give up just yet.

Hinz will be taking a huge gamble here should he continue to stay out on Slicks.

Gilson finds himself leading after the cars ahead of him made the additional stop to change to Wets.

Scala tries to make his move to get back ahead of Vilela, but can’t get it done.

De Bruyker finds himself in 7th with 8s back to Worseling.

Silva is in for the change to Wets.

There is a gap back to the cars behind for Worseling.

Elleker will no doubt be frustrated already from having to give up the race lead, and being stuck behind O’Neill will not be what he wants right now.

Silvestre will bring home a few points should he manage to stay where he is.

Rodriguez finds himself behind Pedersen.

Hinz is under attack from Vilela.

Hinz can do nothing but watch the Demon get ahead of him.

It shouldn’t be too long before Scala is in position to make his move.

Rodriguez goes for a move on Pedersen.

He can’t make it through though.

Scala makes his move on Hinz through Turn 1.

We have a yellow out again.

Here’s the reason why. Jalving has spun at Turn 1.

He was trying to make a move on Silvestre, but ended up locking up which led to him spinning.

Warrington and Soutsen will be looking to take advantage.

Further back is Kederer in the Alpha.

A podium looks to be on the cards for Vilela.

Hinz has a bit of a breather back to Keranen, but it’s only a matter of time before the Snake will be close enough to make a move.

Elleker has managed to get ahead of Worseling.

Silvestre has lost the position to Soutsen.

5 laps to go.

Pedersen looks to have his hands full defending from Steer.

Both Keranen and De Bruyker have gotten ahead of Hinz.

Silvestre has spun at Turn 4.

He was trying to make a move on Warrington, but couldn’t get far enough over to make it stick and ended up making contact, leading to the MAC driver spinning.

He manages to get going again.

4 laps to go and Soutsen has managed to close in more on O’Neill.

Kederer is off the track with smoke billowing from the car.

Elleker has now gotten ahead of Hinz.

Worseling will be glad to be clear of the battle taking place behind him.

Soutsen succeeds in getting ahead of O’Neill.

A lockup from the Alpha driver leads to him running off the track.

O’Neill recovers, but ends up losing a position to Warrington.

Russell in the other Christel has pulled off to the side of the track.

It’s a Suspension Failure that brings an end to Russell’s race.

Two laps left to go for Gilson.

Keranen will be hoping he can hold back De Bruyker to ensure he stays inside the top 5.

It’s been a great comeback for Soutsen here today after having his earlier off.

O’Neill finds himself in battle with Jalving.

Mills is now ahead of Pedersen.

Into the final lap now.

The rain looks to be getting worse once again, but with only one lap left it’s not going to have an impact this time around.

Jalving has managed to get ahead of O’Neill.

Rodriguez could still potentially snatch the position away from Silvestre.

It’s been a fantastic performance from Gilson here today. He comes round the final corner for the last time.

And he takes the chequered flag to win the Brazilian GP.

McClure finishes in 2nd.

Vilela finishes in 3rd to the delight of the home crowd.

De Bruyker manages to hold off Elleker to take 6th.

Hinz takes 8th. No doubt he’ll be relieved considering how long he was left out on Slicks for.

Congratulations once again to Joseph Gilson and SCR, winner of the Brazilian GP.

Charrel, Charrel, Charrel..... what a shame! Even with the spot lost in the first pit stop we were still on for a big day.
On the other side of the Demon garage, what a GREAT drive from Rodrigo! Local knowledge paid off big time, handling the conditions perfectly.

A decent result for the team despite some tough times throughout the race. The points haul for De Bruyker should help keep him in the championship lead, and Warrington showed that we had pace despite having no team boost to use at our disposal. And if it wasn't for the rain a podium finish might have been in reach for sure. We'll regroup for the next round where hopefully we can have another good weekend.
