Mods will be posted tomorrow night.

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian
I seriously doubt we will ever use personal numbers. If we did though, we would have to sort out a pecking order for choosing numbers. One based on longevity, me thinks.

Sweet. Guess that means I can get started on running the round once they go up.

For example, I think in F1 they used the championship standings of the last season right?

No, Charrel. In 2014, Formula 1 used the driver standings only to determine who they would pick first. So much so that it happened that Jules Bianchi wanted the 7. But he had already been chosen by Kimi Raikkonen. Then he wanted 77. But he was already with Valtteri Bottas. Then he had to get the 17. ;)

Yeah thats what I tried to say.. :-P They used the championship standing of the season before to create a picking order.

Hello and welcome to a cool, dark skied Suzuka circuit, in Japan.
The weather forecast for the next few days is grim, and in today's Test Drivers session, we do expect wet conditions.

James Peters is first to set a time, as he still adorns the helmet of shame.

MAC Racing team boss takes over that top spot on the time sheets as he crosses the line....

Keranen in the Snake goes 3rd fastest....

DMR team boss grabs that 3rd spot....

Soutsen goes fastest for MTP....

Mal Stoddart manages 3rd fastest in the SCR entry....

Gareth McCarthy goes 4th in the other DMR currently on track....

Stu Ingers goes 5th fastest in the slightly new looking AMR....

Los Rios puts in the 7th fastest time....

Main game Season 11 champ Joseph Gilson goes slowest, no doubt doing some genuine testing ahead of his main focus....

Beggani manages a very respectable 3rd fastest....

O'Brien on his flying lap, badly impeeded by the Alpha ahead of him who is on his out lap....

Greenhalgh in the Alpha tries to get out of the way....

But O'Brien simply didnt have the grunt in the Tyrant to get past Greenhalgh, leaving himself in 10th fastest....

And down comes the rain, as Legge enters the final chicane on his first flying lap....

Track getting quite patchy wet now, as Majumdar goes 7th fastest....

Maikel de Boer snares the 5th fastest....

Maverick a bit off the pace of his team mate, as the track gets greasier....

Returning veteran Ruben Griedanus posts the 10th fastest time...

Chris Copeman in his VXR entry, waaaaay off the pace - must have gone off track on that lap!

Kederer back in 17th....

The rain really beginning to be a factor, with Cremasco over 1/2 second offf the pace....

But then, BANG! Eric Moinet doesnt let the rain slow him down, going to the top of the time sheets....

Ed Greenhalgh puts a good lap in as the track deteriorates...

The front straight very wet, as all drivers have now posted times....

As the second runs begin, many drivers have gone out in slicks, but abort their laps....

Stoddart some 15 seconds off the pace as the rain really comes down, and minimal grip is found....

The final group of drivers did put rain tyres on, but the track was too wet for any competitive times to be registered...

So, as the drivers dry themselves off, it is congratulations to EM's Eric Moinet claiming the fastest time in the Test Drivers session....

A really tough session, with barely any opportunity to get much out of it. Glad to see Gareth get some points out of it though.....

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
Whoops just noticed the number on my helmet didn't get updated this season haha. Good to get at Top 5 though

X (@ed24f1)
Is it not Eric who did set the fastest time with his Matra from Ecurie Mistral ?

So, as the drivers dry themselves off, it is congratulations to MTP's Michael Soutsen claiming the fastest time in the Test Drivers session....

Can you change that please ? That sounds really disagreeable to me.

Not a bad comeback in tricky conditions. Can my initials changed to "RGR" like in the past?

Don't take it too seriously, this is just a slip up in the commentary. The important thing is that it is reflected correctly in the perf files and in the championship standings and this will be the case.

used to be GPGSL's Nick Heidfeld
