Demon Racing pre Silverstone thoughts...

We at DMR have everything crossed for good luck at Silverstone this round. Our sim runs with the base setup our cars will run, look very promising. Strong engines, good downforce and a bunch of awesome drivers, we desperately want to close out the year with a race victory or two.

S12 R13 - Silverstone GP - Free Practice

We head to the Silverstone circuit, where mixed weather conditions await the drivers. The track is dry currently but there is a chance of rain



Scala is the first out on track and we can already see some drops of rain





O'Brien sets a new fastest lap and it appears that the rain gets stronger







Sheppard takes the top spot













The track is slowly getting wet and drivers seem to struggle to set top times

























The first stint is completed as Soutsen heads to the pits on his inlap. The track is now really wet. Track position seems to be the key point in this session.



Scala is out for his 2nd stint on intermediates



Moinet is brave and goes for slick tyres



As does Karda



Lap times dropped by more than 5 seconds. The first stint is what counts here



Beggani is the last man on track, a whopping 6.2 seconds slower than Sheppard in dry conditions.



Being quick right from the first second was key to winning this session, congrats to Mr. Sheppard

Just completed some testing, and....
Brands Hatch visually looks fantastic. But, 8 cars finished the race, with 10 OUT due to accidents in final corner. Probably puts a line through the track i say..... Will run some more races there, to see if that was just a one off occurence....
Le Mans Bugatti runs fine. All cars have a brake lockup on entry into pit lane, but i have never seen any AI issues as a result - a WINNER for voting as far as i am concerned. Lock it in...... (we need to get back to France, i say )

Ecurie Mistral Announcement

Hey folks, time to unveil our team line-up for next season.

But, first off, we need to debunk an unfounded rumour stating that we'll use an old fashioned aero package for the new car. Reality is, what a paparazzi took for the new car was in fact an old revived Mistral from an earlier life taking part at a Historic meeting a few weeks ago. Yours truly finished 9th overall of a somewhat fun race (you can see me in the middle of the picture).




So now, let's go for next season line-up :

First driver will be again Paulo Silva with a contract of one year? ten years? twenty years? I can't find anything about 20 years but we have a genuine 10 years contract in our wallet with Paulo.
With Daly McClure going to drive for M.M Motorsport next season we are pleased to welcome in the second seat the young and talented Nico Beggani. Nico has impressed us in the testers championship with performances deserving a driver's role in the main series.
Eric Moinet will fill up the tester's seat.
With Nico going to the main series that means we are looking for a new talented driver to join us in the tester's seat. If you're interested in joining a growing team with cracking performance, you can apply to me by PM.

Regarding the forbidden, zippyshare now blocks GER and UK visitors. No explanation as to why. Signs of what's to come thanks to article 13/17?
