Free Practise has been run, with a Feature Race. Hope to have coverage over this weekend.
If anyone wants to takeover RD duties for QUAL and Race, go for it - my schedule is pretty full the next few days.... let me know within the next 24hrs otherwise I will begin, with coverage probably unlikely to be posted until around this time next week....

Qual result for this feature race quite possibly "very very soon".....

Welcome to Turkey!

The GPGSL today brings you the qualifying session from Istanbul Park, where our test drivers stake their claims for starting spots for an 18 lap Feature Race.
Results from the perfectly sunny and dry session below....

Q&R are run as well, won't post it though (except quali maybe) before the feature race is done.

Not good for both myself and Majumdar. All we can hope for now is a clean race and hopefully move up through the field.

Two years ago, I probably would have challenged Glen's decision to make this a feature race AFTER the boost deadline was over ;)
Fortunately, you get settled with age ... unless I lose the win!!!

Eh... He said during the last round that he would do a feature race, way before the boost deadline was announced

Round 11 - Turkish GP - Istanbul Park

The testers got away with a dry session, the race drivers had to deal with rain for their qualifying. While conditions weren't as bad as in previous rounds this season, it still was enough to shake up the order a bit. Connor Steer secured his career first pole position, also marking the first for M.M. Motorsports. Alongside him in the first row Gareth McCarthy, equipped with driver and a double team boost, so basically a triple boost.

Next up will be the test driver feature race, before the race drivers return for the main event of this weekend.

Feels like I'm starting to lose my form this season. Let's hope I don't break the record for most consecutive race retirements this season.
