GPGSL Rd 10 Belgian GP – QualifyingHello and welcome to Spa Francorchamps as we get set for qualifying. The rain played its part in the free practice session for the testers and it looks like it may do the same for the race drivers. The cars can be heard starting up so it’s time to head trackside.

He sets the first time of the session.

Scala now has the slowest time of the session so far.
That’s McCarthy in the wall with damage and a blown engine.

Not long after the time is lowered again, this time by Elleker.
Greidanus goes 4th fastest.
Worseling demotes him down to 5th by going faster.
Kederer’s time is good enough to put him into 2nd.

Russell is first out for Group 1 this time.
McCarthy is back in the pits ready to take part in his second run.
Russell comes across the line, and it looks like it could be session over for the rest of the drivers based on how much time is lost to the fastest time.
Or maybe not. Steer manages to set a fantastic time to take provisional pole.
O’Neill improves to 3rd.
Hinz goes fastest and is the first driver to go into 2min04s.
Pedersen however blitz the time and goes fastest.
Mills can’t match the pace of his teammate and can only manage to improve up to 6th.
McCarthy improves to 11th, and Silva improves to 13th.
Keranen improves, but his time is way off the pace.
Vilela can only manage to improve by one position.
Scala improves slightly better.
Gilson comes out first for Group 2 in the final runs.
However, the rain has gotten a lot worse and the times have dropped off completely.
The session comes to an end without any improvements being made from the remaining drivers.
