GPGSL Season 12, German GP @ Hockenheimring

GPGSL has taken the decision to remove the previously posted Qualifying result, pending a technical issue with duration of race.
If a recreation of the grid can be made to the posted version, and a full 100% length race, that result will stand.
Otherwise, a re-run of Qualifying will occur - NO race had yet been run, so no one is impacted.

Seems the saved game file is only for a 14 lap race!
Is there a tool where i can edit a full 100% GPGSL distance race for a new race? OR, i can run with a totally NEW Qualy and new race.....

Using the CGT resets the variation values, plus you need to add the new tyre parts afterwards.

Why only 14 laps though? Md has the proper length, and the mod takes care of the 100%...



Completely unrelated question, the teamname shown in gpxsat is taken from the perfs, is that right?

Sounds like a lot of work to re-fill the grid to what has been shown in above results.
Just tried installing the CGT i downloaded, but seems my PC doesn't have JRE 2.0 installed.... very odd.

As for the laps, i am not sure - think i was fooling around last week with a shorter race, just for my own driving amusement.

Might make an EXECUTIVE decision, and re-run the Qualifying unless someone else can provide a valid working saved game with the "advertised grid".

HELP!
I have stuffed up this German GP, with the race set at only 60% race distance (due to personal racing last week with the mod)/.
I have tried re-creating the grid using the CGT tool, to no joy in GP4. Anyone that has got experience using that tool, and applying it for use within a CSM mod, please feel free to re-create the grid and provide me a link to a saved race of 24 laps, and i will run that race as the coverage.
Otherwise, it may be necessary to DUMP the results posted earlier....

As previously said, CGT resets variation (since you run a quick race, the one built up in the regular practice/quali is lost), personally I wouldn't use it. When using it, you manually need to add the whole tyre part to the perfs, and run the race as quick race. CGT alters quali perfs, quick race uses those to determine the grid.

So to translate this, it sounds like we are cooked in terms of using CGT?
I feel bad for Paolo and his pole. So sorry about that..... And i just ran half a dozen qualy sessions in accelerated mode, none of which Paolo was fastest.... Giving it one more try (with a little perf altering to see if i can at least put Paolo back on pole!)
Otherwise, if CGT isn't going to allow us to get the results we want, for a usable 24 lap race, guess it is back to square one and a new qualy session gets underway.
