GPGSL S12 - Team Launch Thread

The turning vane looks a bit odd, not quite sure if in a good or bad way. The stars remind me of the Shadow


Gotta start to work on a Minichamps scene as well, want to do that for about half a year already.

Very similar to the Season 11 livery based on that snapshot. Also, why not use the newer Holden logo text? Or is the older one more appealing for you?

Yeah, nice livery again but would be nice to see that Holden logo updated if you have time - as with that Vodafone logo on the previous page there have actually been two versions of those logos since the ones featured on each car

Sometimes older is better.... Never really liked the new Holden text logo. Have got a version with it on the car, but not truly in love with it....

Yes Glen, a vintage look is always better looking, and less is more... to much publicity do no good to the car.
With one exception of Jan Lammers car, the Shadow-Ford DN9 from 1979, all of the car was an advert for 1 advertising brand, and it looked stunning...

... the engine on the other hand was something else
That's why I love the F1 cars from the 60's and 70's era the most, they looked great.
