Please Help! Fanatec Pedals V1 aren't recognised by GP4

Hi guys, my Fanatec v1 pedals are connect to my PC via USB. I have my Fanatec CSW v2.5 wheel set up as 'Controller A' and my V1 pedals as 'Controller B'. When I do the calibration the game reads both the wheel and pedals fine. But when I go to race only the wheel works but not the pedals....! What could be going wrong? I mean the game reads the pedals perfectly on the calibration set up, but when it comes to going racing they don't work at all...? Can anyone assist?
