I fully agree Kedy.
in any case we need to increase the size of this part which is not realistic. I edited Arnaud's shape before the launch of the 2018 cars
and it was a bad comprehension of the 2018 regulation. Stay tuned.

@Kedy: Now we know how the 2018 cars look like, aero parts will be modified... My free time is focused on the actual 2018 cars but as soon as I can, I will update it... ;-)

merci Arnaud :)
You are welcome, guys! I hope that this will allow you to make great F1 2018 liveries.

One important thing: Alpha layers are included into PSD files. Don't delete them before to save into .tga files in order to keep good reflections and shadows in game.
For rookies or new comers, alpha layers are very important if fou don't want to get shiny cars in game.

The alpha layer determines how your texture will reflect in game.
Black alpha= no reflection
White alpha= shiny (most of the time used to make silver or chrome texture for the cars)

I didn't use The Gimp for years but I think that this should be similar than with Photoshop.

Edit: I have downloaded The Gimp and tested to import my psd file and then to export it into .tga but it seems that The Gimp won't export the alpha channel. When I open the .tga file into photoshop, the alpha channel is white. I don't know why

When I open my PSD file into the Gimp, all seems OK:

I have checked the preferences but even when I modify the exporting profile, the problem remains the same.

Maybe and advanced user could help you... But I understand now why you can save your file without the alpha channel.

Thank you again!
I have tried this with my own livery but in game the new barge boards are displayed with black areas.

Any ideas as to the fault?

I removed any logos from the barge boards and created new cars.wad and in the game the barge boards appear okay.

Hi Excalibur, I spent the day improving my knowledge of photoshop ..... I have already learned something, do not eliminate alpha layer .... kkkkk friend how hard this is! I think it improved my creation a lot but I noticed that the car paint is not textured and not solid and solid, any suggestions?

Grateful Walter

Thanks to the RSCT team for this release!
I don't play GP4 much these days, but this looks like a good time to get back to making some skins!
