Lotus 1986 and some suggestions to be made for conversions of F1 cars derived from other sports simulators.

this is what a sports car looks like for the 1986 F1C MOD season. But there's something I do not like ... and what is it ?



By analyzing the dimensions of the car in question you can see what does not work. The length is too huge, the height could be improved, and the width does not convince me.



Now I have corrected the various dimensions of the car, but let's see in detail.
I created a colored object in red that checks the correct measurements, a bit like the people in the '80s F1, to check that the cars had the correct measurements.



Some other pic with the correct measurements.



With these last two images we see the improvement of the car, resizing the measures and placing the rider's head in the correct position is only the first step but that I think it is a good advice.



I think that the pilot now feels a little better.

Really great! But how do you do to modify the cars? Because when i modify with 3d simed, save the work and put all in the .mas, f1 chzllenge crash :/

Using the 3DSimED software the procedure to resize the car is very long but here's what you have to do



IMPORT AS OBJECTS : to import all the parts to be resized



EDIT : select one object at a time



in the window go to set the new values (0.98 0.94 1.00)



repeat this procedure for all parts of the vehicle. With the parts resized individually, you need to export them with the .mts function used in F1C.



for a comparison I used the Zmodeler software. Resize the car is a first step but we must at least know well how to program a car in F1C.

Thank you! I will re test that! I think I have already test with this procedure but the game crashed, it was not for this mod but maybe I was doing somerhibg wrong.
