[RELEASED] San Giltz Speedway

Hi everyone,

It has been now almost ten years (!) that I began to build on a fictionnal circuit for GP4, San Giltz Speedway. I finally found the time to finish it and I decided to release it. As you will see, given that I didn't know anything about 3D modeling when I began, it is not perfect, and probably not as good as the numerous beautiful projects released by GP4 community. Looking back, I can confirm that SketchUp is not the most appropriate software to do modeling, even if the result is not so bad :). Anyway, I hope you will enjoy the track.

San Giltz Speedway is a fictional Formula 1 track comprising three layouts: International, Oval and National.

I would like to thank to all GP4 community, for all the ideas it gave to me, and all the helpfull tutorials and discussions on this forum. Thank you to the members who accepted to give me their permission to use parts of their work, objects or textures. I wouldn't have been able to build my track without you. Special thanks to Lo2k for GP4 builder and all the impressive improvements made since I began this project. Here is the list of all the contributers:

- Turbo lover (International layout track cameras)
- SkaaningeN (Alternate track cameras)
- F1 Virtual (Objects and textures from AMS Renault Complex 2007, Dubai Autodrome 2007, Sepang 2009, Melbourne 2012)

I'm pretty sure TTM stated in the original readme of his Monza tracks that the textures can be used in other works without asking for permission if he is credited. So these should be ok.

Wow, thanks for your messages guys!
'Didn't think so much people would be intersted by it!
In fact, it is really three circuits in one, even if the international layout is the main one. Same .wad for all (thanks to TSM that can automatically update a few textures on it before loading the game) and same .bin (which has advantages and drawbacks and was a bit complicated to implement with a lot a bugs, and which is yet maybe not the best solution), but two different pitlanes (yeah, I like to complicate my life ;-) )

@n00binio: I checked, but there is no mention of the reuse of textures from TTM's Monza track. I will wait a little longer and then I will see

It is mentioned in TTM's 2007 Monza track readme.

MarioB has signed the new permission policy.

As for the others, they have not been active for a while, so i guess if you respect the permission policy rules and wait for ca. 30 days you should be ok.
