The car looks good but the nose doesn't fit for me. I get that it's meant to be an arrow but it doesn't look good on screen IMHO

Indeed, that was close. :-o

Team Ireland

8th in qualifying, pretty good so far but looking ahead we're way off to guys within 1 tenths. We expect to be fighting for Top 5 or Top 10 and praying for a good race for Ireland.
Too bad missing out on front row by 17 thousands ... still a strong result and looking to go big for home crowd!

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

A good session for the team I think, and we'll see how well we can hold position in the race with our boost not being as high as some of the other teams.

Back in action! Whereas this is unfortunately not where we'd like to be, it's not a bad position either considering the lack of boost. As usual, staying out of trouble will surely mean big points.

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
9th in the first qualifying session. Great result for Team Canada.
GPG Nations Cup Rd 5 Dutch GP – Race Day

Part 1

Welcome back to Zandvoort as we prepare ourselves for the race to get underway. Reigning champion Pryce has taken the pole position ahead of Grimaldi, with both drivers having set the same laptime. However, as Pryce set his time first the pole position goes to him. The cars can be heard returning from the warmup lap, so let’s head trackside for the start.

Weather Report

All cars have now lined up and we are set for a start.

They’re off!

Kederer goes into battle with Prost for 4th.

And the German succeeds in getting ahead.

Just ahead, Pryce is under huge pressure from Grimaldi. De Boer also wants his part in the battle.

First Fastest Lap goes to Pryce.

Back in the midfield, McGregor succeeds in his move on Rodriguez.

De Boer has managed to get ahead of Grimaldi.

Tung finds himself back down in the back end of the top 10 and has his sights set on Dilain’s 8th.

Prost has lost another position, this time to Saputra.

Rodriguez has gone into the wall just as the timing shows how the top 10 have moved since the start.

De Boer has closed in on Pryce.

Not much in it between Grimaldi, Kederer and Saputra.

Dilain is now behind Tung.

We have a move on for the race lead.

And De Boer succeeds in getting ahead to take the race lead as the crowd goes wild.

Tung has spun.

He was defending from Dilain, then not long after ends up running off the track. Prost also spun as well.

Both Prost and Tung gets going again, but their chance at points has most likely slipped away from them.

Kederer has a good view of the cars ahead of him.

However, if the former champion wants to challenge for the top 2 positions he first has to get ahead of Grimaldi.

Current championship leader Cremasco is down in 15th and defending his position from Hatfield.

It looks like Tung’s pace is better than Prost’s at the current moment as the Chinese driver has slowly closed in.

Kederer is going for a move on Grimaldi.

And the German succeeds in getting ahead.

As we go onboard with Saputra, let’s check out the current standings.

Cremasco has closed in on McGregor.

Keranen has spun off the track after what looked like contact with Hatfield.

As the replay shows, Keranen had gone to the outside in an attempt to make a move on Hatfield, but ended up making contact instead.

Keranen gets going again.

Kederer is back behind Grimaldi once again.

Tafuro sits inside the top 10 currently, and has a decent gap between himself and Silva.

Further back, Cremasco has gotten ahead of McGregor.

Next on the Brazilian’s hit list is Vukcevic. Ahead of them, Maslov is doing his best to keep with Silva.

Hang on, Vukcevic looks to have a major issue with his car as both Cremasco and McGregor have gone past.

Maslov goes for a move on Silva.

And the Russian driver succeeds in getting ahead.

Kederer has hit the wall.

From Grimaldi’s view, it appears the German ran wide leaving no room to avoid the wall.

Vukcevic finally brings his car to a stop.

Saputra now finds himself in 3rd. What happened to Grimaldi?

Cremasco is now only one position shy of being inside the top 10.

Grimaldi is now down in 16th.

As the replay shows, he had gone off the track and was forced to wait for the field to go past.

There is no sight of Pryce behind De Boer.

Tyrson is chasing down Saputra for a chance at moving up onto the podium.

We find McGregor in 12th.

Pryce has a lot of work ahead of him if he wants to try and get back in touch with De Boer.

Now Grimaldi has hit the same wall as Rodriguez and Kederer before him. What started off as a good weekend has ended as a miserable one for the Monaco driver.

Prost is now ahead of Hatfield. That leaves the former champion having to defend from Tung.

The Chinese driver attempts a move into the chicane, but can’t get ahead as Hatfield defends.

Maslov has gotten ahead of Tafuro.

Prost finds himself on the rear of McGregor.

Saputra has closed in on Pryce.

De Boer is taking charge of the race.

Let’s check out the standings as we ride onboard with the race leader.

Pryce is under attack from Saputra.

The Indonesian driver succeeds in getting ahead.

Time for us to take a quick break. We'll be back shortly.

2nd? Wow... But long way to go yet. They walls are very close

What a shame !

Expecting a little worse, let's see the rest of the race...

GPG Nations Cup Rd 5 Dutch GP - Race Day

Part 2

Welcome back.

Hatfield has gone off the track.

Replay shows that Tung attempted a passing move, but ended up bumping the rear of Hatfield, leaving the former champion out wide.

Hatfield gets going again, though he won’t be too happy.

Prost is going for a move on McGregor.

And he succeeds in getting ahead.

Pitstops are now under way as De Boer pits first.

Pryce also takes his stop.

De Boer rejoins in 6th.

Pryce rejoins behind Prost, but he’ll need to be careful not to damage his new tyres.

In comes Tung for his stop.

Tyrson is in from 2nd.

Pryce won’t want to stay behind Prost for too long.

Maslov is in.

Prost pits, leaving Pryce to continue on.

Hatfield and Keranen are in for their stops.

This is not good for Keranen. He is forced to wait behind Hatfield before he can be serviced.

More traffic for Pryce to deal with.

De Boer now has traffic to deal with as well.

Saputra pits from the lead.

Dilain is also in.

Keranen finally leaves the pits.

De Boer finds himself in the lead once again.

Saputra has managed to rejoin back in front of Pryce. The reigning champion will not be happy with that.

Cremasco rejoins after taking his stop.

Bobby is in.

In comes Tafuro as Tyrson and Dilain go into battle.

Dilain manages to get ahead.

Not again. Now Tafuro has to wait to be serviced. This has killed any chance of scoring points for the Italian driver.

Pryce may soon have his hands full defending the final podium position.

Dilain is going for his move.

And the Canadian succeeds in getting ahead.

With all cars having pitted, let’s check out the current standings.

Tyrson is next in line to challenge Pryce.

Silvestre will be pretty pleased with where he is currently sitting.

Tung is now up to 9th. It’s been a decent comeback for the Chinese driver after having the spin earlier in the race.

Silva holds the final points position, however Cremasco will be fighting hard to try and take it.

Pryce is starting to feel the pressure for sure.

One can only guess what is going through Tafuro’s mind right now.

8s lead for De Boer.

Behind Dilain, it appears that Tyrson has succeeded in getting ahead of Pryce.

With 5s back to McGregor, Cremasco has no need to worry about what is happening behind him.

Bobby is chasing down Maslov for 7th.

3rd would be a very good result for Dilain if he can manage to hold it till the end.

Bobby tries for a move on the outside.

But it doesn’t work out for the American.

He tries again down the straight.

Again he can’t get by.

The gap continues to close between Silva and Cremasco in the battle for the final position inside the top 10.

Bobby tries again to get ahead of Maslov.

This time he manages to do it.

Already a gap has opened up between the two cars.

Tung is next to attack Maslov.

This may explain why Maslov lost ground. He has pitted to fix a mechanical issue with his car. He’ll be disappointed for sure to have lost out on points thanks to a mechanical issue.

With Maslov no longer in the points, that has allowed both Silva and Cremasco to both move up one position.

Maslov is challenging Prost.

And he succeeds in getting ahead.

The timing shows the top 10’s movements since race start.

3 laps left to go.

Dilain looks to be all on his own.

De Boer’s lead has dropped to 3s over Saputra.

That may drop even more depending on how badly De Boer gets held up.

We’re now on the final lap.

Cremasco is refusing to give up on his attempt to pass Silva.

He goes for a move.

And the championship leader finally gets ahead.

For De Boer, it has been a fantastic race. He comes round the final corner for the last time.

And he takes the chequered flag to win the Dutch GP to the delight of the crowd.

Saputra finishes 2nd.

Dilain takes the final podium spot.

The race has finally come to a close. Congratulations to Maikel De Boer and Team Netherlands, the winner of the Dutch GP. It was a dominating race by the home team and they should be proud with themselves. It’s safe to assume there will be a massive celebration from the team. Anyways, we hope you enjoyed our coverage. Be sure to rejoin us again when we bring you the coverage for Rd 6. So until then, it’s goodbye from Zandvoort.

Podium on the debut race doesn't sounds bad at all. Well done Tom Dilain and all Team Canada.
2nd. Another great podium. 1 mistake could've finished the race here, so pleased to follow Netherlands home

Damn that was a hard hit. Remember when the plan was "staying out of trouble"?

On to the next one.

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
Could have ended the race in the top 10. Seriously...

Nice haul of points for Team USA. Not strong enough to a perormance though, even without boost. Time to give our engines a solid overhaul....
