(Not an April Fools)

Hello guys, I decided to share all WIP track files resting on my PC so anyone can do whatever they want with it. It's not much, some things were lost after years of PC changes and system failures, and I didn't include anything made by other F1virtual members. If you wish to modify or release any new work using these files, you have my permission already.

IMPORTANT: Tracks released at the F1virtual website involve the work of more people than just myself, so the rules above don't apply. Do not modify, update or reupload any of F1virtual's tracks without proper consent from all the authors listed in a track's readme.txt file.

You'll find tracks in many different stages of development: near-complete .dats (Mexico, Nurburgring), tracks that were taken over by other authors (Austin, Buddh), tracks that are downright buggy/unplayable and barely empty folders with just a Google Earth image inside. Do not expect me to finish any of these tracks, updates will be mostly small and random, depending on what I feel like doing and how much time I have. I've been in this "business" for more than 10 years and I'm quite happy with everything I managed to do in the modding scene. I still love doing this, but priorities change and it's become harder and harder to dedicate enough time to high-quality works like F1virtual has always been proud of.

Enough talk, here are the links:

That's some sad news.
But thank you for all the work you've done for this game. F1virtual tracks is definitely one of the things that keeps the game alive for me. And with the ammount of work you've done it will be still alive for a long time still.
Wishing you all the best for the future, you're a great man and true gp4 legend (Y)

Thanks for your words guys :)

Altough I guess "I have no plans to further update" was a bit too strict on my part. While I have no plans to make any more full releases, F1virtual style, I still like to play with GP4Builder every now and then so expect some small, meaningless updates in random intervals ;). Just added a .dat for Termas de Río Hondo that should load ingame, but can't be raced yet (no cc-line).

EDIT: Also added files for Tarumã, Sonoma and Motegi, which for some reason I forgot to include from the beginning.

I created a Daytona track with the files provided by Paulo and the track worked , however the maximum speed reached was 80km/h . How can I solve this issue or I can't ?
Thanks in advance

The "solution" I found was to remove the banking at the start/finish line section. Other than that, this is the longest unresolved bug I've ever met :)

I just tried and it worked out. It would have to make the rise and fall from the -21 to the -10. There is a (big) jump.

And this is the reason for the low speed of the cars ?

Added basic playable versions of Termas de Río Hondo and Paul Ricard.

Bonus: crappy phone shots, because I forgot GPxPatch had a screenshot function.
