Milos contacted me two days ago to say that he'll have this happening since he lost motivation for the GPGSL. I would have preferred to see him announce this, at least, but it is as it is.

Unless something extraordinary happens, we won't call back Alessandro from Alpha at this stage and Michael will fill the gap in the second race seat while Matteo will be doing double shifts for the moment.

If somebody is interested in joining an active team as a test driver, please write a PM to me.

C'mon Aidan, join in the banter and have fun! Because that there does not count as activity.

Maybe comment on the latest GPGSL sandal?

Hey Aidan, do you want some pepper with your salt?

I'm happy to be activity-check relief at some point if someone's hard-up for drivers, although I'd prefer to stay on my sabbatical for now ;)

So strange but true!

Shame for Milos being kicked out, and three absent so far in the activity check. This is not looking good.

Also can't wait for the Round 6 of South Africa. We'll see what gains can we make out of it.
Team boss inactive. That doesn't bode well, especially as we had begun picking up the pace. Hopefully it doesn't affect us too much.

If that doesn't count as a post, can they send me to where it says that?
-> yes I'm willing to eat my words.

Common sense Aidan, but since you insist:

Quote
Rulebook
14) Activity
The spirit of the GPGSL is, that this series and thread is active and fun. Ideally not made out of "ghost" drivers or team owners. Therefore the following rules regarding activity were made. In the following rules, 'activity' is regarded as making a post. This can be done with a PR release, press conference, giving an interview or a simple comment. The sky is the limit, be creative.

I'm imagining you think posting "post" counts as a simple comment, like the rule says. However it also says "be creative", which doesn't take much more time. Let me do it for you: "South African GP next! Looking forward to keep the momentum of the team" boom that's it, you're active. It's one sentence, you've kept it related to the league and the upcoming race and it truly is a simple comment.

I don't want you or anyone here to think that I'm nagging you. Just asking to keep within the same rule set that everyone has agreed on. If anything, I'm honestly trying to encourage you to stay with us. The main reason for all of this stuff is the fun and the banter, and if people are inactive, we're only left with the races and barely nothing else.

And if you leave we're gonna miss a Finnish guy! We need somebody to chug champagne instead of spray it! ;)

Oooooh, some sandals! For those of us living in Melbourne, sandals no good right now - feet will fall off in the freezing cold we are having!

Putting the DMR hat on, sad to see Daniel take a hit in the activity checks - haven't seen him around, so will have to search for him. Hopefully not falling by the wayside, like a few others lately, with the interest dying.

And, putting another different hat on, the GPGSL points tables have been fixed, and amended with corrections to driver names/missed FL from Italy. New version of table will hopefully be posted later tonight. If not, rest assured, the spreadsheets ARE correct for next round's results. Been a fair bit of work done lately to get them up and running 100% correctly, so hoping they are now spot on correct.

Now, see the main reason I asked wasn't to say "ah yeah nah my post is fine", but because I had some rule up in my head that I wasn't allowed to do exactly that, and hence why I got my penalty.
From my memory, I popped on the forum a few days ahead of the deadline, saw nothing much happening (maybe discussions I had no care over, or some from way earlier), thought, there's nothing here for me to post on without looking like I'm taking the piss, at which point I'm going to get in trouble for doing and it probably won't be counted. Took the risk someone would post something meaningful, didn't get on for a few days, got cucked and #ggez. Upon looking over the rules, I couldn't find what the hell the rule was.
That's my side, seems like I'll just have to be salty for the rest of the season now. I won't be leaving (this season), I owe a lot to this series and to Maikel to have one hissy fit and just leave, so don't worry on that count.

As for the Finlandball, I actually have a real life one that looks just like that, without the vodka and knife xD
We are happy people once again.
