I think, I can be quite happy with the race so far... too slow the whole weekend, so points are a maximum
Can't remember that Suzuka was causing so many incidents.

its a disaster really....things need to turn around!
Controllo attività!

Yep, it's that day of the every other week. Looks like a good week from here... however, as it seems to be tradition in this little community, we have one absentee! That would be:

Giovanna Michail (Ecurie Mistral), whose last post was on June 6.

La signorina Michail has been awarded her first warning. Next check is up July 5. Be here, we don't bite. Well, we only bite a chunk off your perf if you're not here, don't we?

Good race for Kederer in 4th place and a chance to get on the podium.
GPGSL Rd 3 Japanese GP - Race Day

Part 3

We are back once again.

We return from the break to find Scala getting some air after making contact with Cremasco.

He makes it to the pits to undergo a front wing change.

De Bruyker and Gilson are both in for their stop.

Rodriguez goes for a move on Spangenberg.

And the MPR driver gets it done.

Copeman also was in for his stop.

Spangenberg isn't willing to let Rodriguez get away from him and puts himself right on the rear of the MPR.

Now that all drivers have made their stop, let's check out the current standings.

We can see the gap between Worseling and Hinz for the race lead.

Further back, Elleker has a gap between himself and Kederer.

Copeman now finds himself up to 14th, just two places shy of a points finish.

Sanvitale is off the road on the exit of Casino Triangle.

Replay shows that he went onto the grass due to a problem with his car. As he went to rejoin, it caused Spangenberg to run wide and allowed Cremasco to get ahead.

It looks like Sanvitale's race is now over.

But wait, Sanvitale has managed to roll down to the pitlane. It looks like he'll be able to get his problem fixed up.

Nell has been passed by the cars behind him. Something must be wrong with the Demon.

Indeed there is. Smoke is billowing from the rear of the Demon.

Due to Nell slowing down, it has left Warrington nowhere to go except into the rear of the Demon.

That sends the Demon driver off the road and into the barrier.

The view from Warrington's car after the moment of contact.

Nell's race is over for sure.

Copeman now finds himself in 12th.

Sanvitale rejoins the track after taking the unscheduled stop.

The confirmation of Nell's retirement.

Let's take a look at the current standings again.

There's not much in it between Cremasco and Rodriguez.

Elleker has managed to close in more on his teammate.

For Worseling, the battle between the AMRs will actually be good for him as it'll allow him to focus on increasing the gap back to them.

It'll also be good for Kederer as well as it'll allow him to close in more.

Not that long ago, Rodriguez was on the rear of Cremasco. Now the gap has gotten a lot bigger between the two.

We could be in for an interesting battle at the rear end of the points positions.

Should anything happen to them, McClure may be able to take advantage.

With Nell now out of the race, it would've gave Scala a chance to take the championship lead. But that now seems very unlikely as the MTP driver is no longer in the points.

It's still on between the two AMRs.

5 laps left to go.

We can see the gap Kederer needs to decrease for him to close in on the AMRs.

It looks like Elleker is the faster of the two AMRs, so no doubt he'll be getting frustrated.

Rodriguez has lost yet another position.

The timing shows how the top 10 have moved since race start.

Gilson looks to have 14th secured.

Behind the battling AMRs and Kederer, we have another battle taking place between Warrington and Silva.

Rodriguez is really struggling in these last few laps. Pretty soon he'll have Warrington right on his rear.

Elleker has gotten ahead of Hinz, but loses it back through Casino Triangle.

That has allowed Kederer to close in more.

Silva goes for his move on Warrington.

But is unable to get ahead.

Worseling only has a few laps left to go till he takes the win.

If you think Elleker is frustrated, try and imagine how Ingers would be feeling.

It's still on between Warrington and Silva.

Rodriguez has lost the position to Warrington.

De Bruyker and Copeman are next in line to have an attempt at getting by Rodriguez.

Silva tries again to get ahead of Warrington.

And again he can't get ahead.

Copeman goes for a move on De Bruyker.

The One driver manages to hold his position.

Elleker tries again to get ahead of his teammate.

He gets the move done.

Hinz doesn't take it lying down and gets back ahead of Elleker. This time though, Elleker is pushed out wide and loses 3rd to Kederer while recovering.

The battle between Warrington and Silva is allowing the Tyrant behind them to close in.

De Bruyker goes for a move on Rodriguez.

He can't get it done. As a result, it has allowed Copeman to get closer.

It looks like there may have been some contact made between the two drivers as De Bruyker is out wide. That gives Copeman the run he needs to get ahead down the straight.

It's been a great day for Worseling.

He takes the final corners for the final time.

And he takes the chequered flag to win the Japanese GP.

Hinz takes 2nd.

Kederer takes 3rd. He should be happy with that, although it could've been much better for him.

Copeman was able to get ahead of De Bruyker, and has also managed to get ahead of Rodriguez.

That brings our coverage to a close. Congratulations Nick Worseling and SCR, the winner of Rd 3. He'll be very happy with this result for sure. As for Pedersen, it was looking like he would go on to take the victory. But that chance was taken from him after contact from Kederer took him out of contention so no doubt he will be really annoyed by this. Anyways, that wraps up our coverage of Rd 3. We hope you enjoyed our coverage, and we hope that you'll all be back again when we bring you the coverage for Rd 4. So until then, it's goodbye from Suzuka.

Even though it could have been better, great to see another podium for the team!

Massive shame for Alessandro, but he did a great job to recover to the pits at least!

Well done Nick, some handy points for the team. :-)

After being the last in the qualify of the "boosted drivers" finishing in 6th is not that bad....

A double points finish for the team. To us, that's a great result for sure. And in regards to the incident between Pedersen and Kederer, we probably should've brought Cremasco in first for his stop instead of Warrington. Had we done that, then those two could've took their battle to the end of the race for the lead. So apologies to both of them.

Both cars on points. Good!!
