We are announcing our immediate departure from GPGSL, taking our reigning world champ Seb Nell with us. Daniel Thomas and Daniel Mills are also joining us, as DMR move to Formula E. Backing from the ever reliable and powerful Honda engines will power us to victory in the series....

Well, DMR is not going anywhere - team officials today watched the Mexico Formula E event, and.....dud F1 drivers not good enough to be in GPGSL, and cars that are quiet and look dead slow? No thanks.....

GPGSL S11 Rule Changes
Over the last few weeks, the GPGSLRS have been conducting extensive tests with a view in creating a more effective boost system. We also wanted to investigate the theory that higher variance levels created better driver performances.
In the tests it was discovered that a high variance level doesn't always guarantee a high level of performance, but it invariably does result in one more often than not. As a result, the driver variance level will be reduce from 500 to 400. Further to this, as we have now lowered the variance twice from 600 to 400, we have decided that the variance will NOT reduce as a driver accumulates perf points and will remain at 400 throughout the season.
Although lowering the variance to 400 would give the 100 driver boost a better chance of working, we also tested higher boosts of 150 and 200. Testing showed that these level of boosts, coupled with a lower variance, had a better chance of succeeding without it becoming a guarantee of a pole and/or win, with 200 being the better choice. Therefore driver boost will increase in size from 100 to 200. Although the calendar now only includes 14 races, we will continue with 6 driver boosts per driver per season.
As we have made quite a few changes already, we decided that team boost levels should stay as they are for this season with a view to changing them next season, once we see how the driver boost performs. However, it was felt that large amounts of team boost wasn't carrying enough risk. It has been decided that the failure rate will be increased on a sliding scale as follows (Old values in brackets):
1 = 900 (800) +100
2 = 1200 (900) +300
3 = 1600 (1000) +600
4 = 2000 (1100) +900
5 = 2400 (1200) +1200
6 = 3000 (1300) +1700
7 = 3600 (1500) +2100
8 = 4200 (1700) +2500
9 = 4800 (2000) +2800
10 = 5400 (2500) +2900
11 = 6000 (3000) +3000
12-14 = 7000 (3500) +3500
15-17 = 8000 (15-16 = 4000) +4000
18-20 = 10000 (17-20 = 5000) +5000
21-24 = 12000 (6000) +6000
25-28 = 14000 (7000) +7000
29-32 = 16000 (8000) +8000

Awesome news. Agree with all the changes and I think I speak for the majority when I say I'm eager to see if those boosts will shake up the racing. Coupled with the shorter season, I have a good feeling.

All new teams are classed as 11th place, so therefore will all receive +32 bhp boost.
