GPGSL welcomes you all to the Silverstone circuit, where it is fair to say, a bit of change has occured since our last visit : drastic changes have occured in the layout, with barely a chicane in sight! This will be a shock to some drivers....
The weather is sensational, with a clear blue sky greeting teams as they set out on the 30 minute Free Pracitse session for Test Drivers....
Von Draxeler in the One Racing beast is first to set a time....
Mills in the Demon goes 2nd
Test Driver championship leader Vilela goes 2nd for One Racing....
Nathan McGregor takes 2nd for MAC Racing....
Marcus De Bruyker slots into 1st place in the SCR
Scala finds himself in 5th
O'Neill goes to the top of the charts in the Alpha...
Stu Ingers sits in 3rd in his Aston Martin....
Warrington takes over 2nd for MPR...
And Maverick is down in 10th....
Chris Copeman instantly takes over that 10th spot....
Dan Mills improves on his 2nd lap, going to 5th place....
And another improvement in lap time for Sean O'Neill at the top of the timesheets.....
Ingers also improves on his 2nd flying lap....
Nata Cremasco goes 5th as the first of the next batch of drivers begin setting lap times...
Rodriguez in the MPR sets his first laptime....
Gianluigi Silvestre posts a competitive 3rd place time to start his session....
Glen Sheppard goes 5th in the boosted DMR....
Connor Steer posts the 16th fastest time on his first lap....
Ed Greenhalgh goes 4th in his Alpha machine...
Greg O'Brien will be unhappy with his first lap....
SCR boss Mal Stoddart sets a scorching time to go to 2nd fastest....
Rodriguez is still mid pack on the time sheets, not yet quite getting the hang of the circuit....
Paolo Silva sets his first laptime....
Closely followed by his team boss, Eric Moinet....
Sheppard returns himself up the order, with a 5th fastest time so far....
Maikel De Boer introduces himself to the scoreboard, going 14th....
Greenhalgh moves up the order, back into 5th....
Moinet improves on his earlier time....
Mills jumps up to 8th fastest on his home track....
Vilela still struggling, down in 14th fastest....not good for his championship standings at this moment....
Cameras missed in, but SCR's Mal Stoddart sits atop the times, with O'Neill now in 2nd....
Mills improves again, going up to 5th place...
John Warrington puts himself into 3rd spot....
Cremasco in the Tyrant Motorsports machine has found some speed, taking himself up the standings...
Rodriguez probably wont be satisfied with 10th...
Sheppard on the other hand, will be happy with a 3rd fastest time....
And even happier on his following lap, moving into 2nd place....
Greg O'Brien not having a happy session, down in last place...
Championship leader Rodrigo Vilela still unable to find raw speed as the session nears it's conclusion....
One of the home town heroes, Dan Mills posts another improved lap time....
Matteo Scala sticks the MTP in the 11th place....
De Brukyer goes 4th fastest as the clock ticks down....
Rodriguez goes to 5th, as he crosses the line just before the session ends, giving him one more flying lap....
And would you believe it - Rodriguez shoots up to 2nd overall....
Greg O'Brien was also able to get 1 more lap in, improving his time a little....
And with that, our penultimate Test Drivers session is done. The boffins will now head off to the trailers, and officials do some calculating to see where today's session leaves us for the season finale at Emmelord.
GPGSL can officially announce though, a FEATURE RACE will close the season for the Test Drivers, where the championship will be decided.

Oh my oh my ... the rocket man times are over. At least Matteo found some pace in his second stint so hope's not all lost for the main event.

Good for Cresmaco, not so good for me. Without boost it was always going to be tough to take home a decent result. If Cremasco and Dilain can get the best out of the car in qualifying and the race despite having no boost, then that would be the best part of the weekend for us.

I think we have to change our aero settings.
A very nice 5th place for me and a win for SCR teamboss Mal Stoddart... but my old teammate Carlos came very close at the last minute, well done 
Hopefully my ONE car will feel and do the same as the SCR in Drivers Q & R... will try to use the same settings if it's possible with that High nose of my ONE car.

Yeah, I reckon you are right. Will download this tonight, and give it a good testing IF I am doing the Qual/Race RD'ing - which I am happy to do.
I was under the assumption the track that was in the S11 trackpack I was provided, WAS the version by Ruben.....

Yeah, I reckon you are right. Will download this tonight, and give it a good testing IF I am doing the Qual/Race RD'ing - which I am happy to do.

I think Ruben had his hands on the trackpack one as well. The one I linked wasn't ready when the trackpack was published. Best talk with Stu or John though, I'm not on the board so I might be talking nonsense.

Looks like we have reasonable pace in the car, something to build on at least! Although with a potential layout change the setup work could all be for nothing!
