Nice livery.

Speaking of liveries, the painters are busy at work painting up the livery for Tyrant Motorsports Season 12 campaign. Asides from Coca Cola taking over from DHL as main sponsor, no other sponsorship changes are expected to happen.

Will it be an all red cars next season ?

DMR will probably have some red. But there is always the chance a total change in livery and colours could occur. Cans of silver paint do sit in the team's HQ......

What's wrong with no color ?

Just full white or full metal... or are those two also colors ?

I always say... less is more, hopefully we're going to have the begin liveries of Formula One.

Season 12 must be the Historic season of car liveries... "Dr.Who, bring us back in 'F1' time" ;-)

Nice livery Nata - please note that Vodafone recently introduced a slightly modified logo so you might want to update your livery to match

Team lineups for S12 really taking shape.
Still nothing from AMR, MPR, and a few spare seats at SCR, SMS, MAC, MTP, ALPHA and Ecurie Mistral from my detective work....hard to keep track of them all! A few unofficial statements from drivers, but official team statements yet to 100% confirm the seats for many....

GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)
Hi there...

Like, some weeks or months ago, I received the second absence warning... Then I said about my health issues and else, about how I got to recover and else, hoping that nothing else would go wrong...

But life is full of surprises, some good, some bad... I had some more issues which led me to move from where I lived for the last three and a half decades... I'm having to, once again, relearn to live my own life and deal with it, as like when I discovered that I'm an Asperger... (Google it...)

Due to all this issues and as I'm real engaged to my personal projects, I've rendered unable to follow regularly the GPGSL and comment often as I wanted to, which means that I'm going to quit the GPGSL at the end of the current season...

Thanks to all...!!

It's really sad to read this, my friend. I hope you can sort things out.

Really sad to hear this Erik :(

However, real life must take precedence. I wish you luck my friend in everything that you do and there will always be a place here for you should decide to return.

Demon Racing Post Qual/Pre Race press statement

Whilst upset with the overall grid positions for Dan Mills and Seb Nell in qualy - we did find some sand bags under the body work, which we are not ruling out sabotage! Fingers crossed, our cars are now at legal minimum weight, and should be rocket ships around Spielberg....

And also in the race, we are cheering not only our drivers, but also DMR bound Charrel Jalving, hoping he charges through the field to keep his title chances alive. It would be cool for DMR to once again wear the #1 on our race cars, with Charrel hopefully having the right to bring that along next season.

GPGSL Rd 11 Austrian GP – Race Day

Part 1

Hello and welcome back to Osterrichring. Today we’ll finally get to see who will be taking the victory, and also who’ll be leaving as championship leader. So far this weekend it has all been about Rodriguez and MPR, so it makes sense to see them as favourites for the victory. However, anything can happen during the race so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. The cars can be heard returning from the warmup lap so let’s head trackside for the start.

Weather Report

The cars have all lined up on the grid and we are set for a start.

They’re off!

Hinz is attempting to make a move on Rodriguez.

He succeeds in getting ahead, and now Rodriguez has to defend from Warrington.

It’s getting pretty intense at the rear of the field.

Rodriguez really has his hands full holding off not only Warrington, but the other cars behind him as well.

With Rodriguez busy defending his position, it’s allowing Hinz to increase his lead.

There’s a train forming behind the MPR.

Warrington goes for a move.

Fastest lap goes to Hinz.

Warrington finally gets ahead of Rodriguez.

It’s really close in the battle for 5th.

It’s close in each of the battle groups throughout the field.

Championship leader Jalving finds himself deep in the midfield.

There’s barely any space between the cars directly behind the MPR.

Kederer has spun off.

He gets going again, though he’ll now have to work much harder if he is to leave this round with valuable points.

It looks like Silvestre has made contact with the wall.

As the replays shows, there was contact between Mills and Silvestre.

Thankfully, the MTP driver manages to avoid damage to his car.

Mills finds himself one position shy of a points position.

Rodriguez is off to the side of the track. Heartbreak for the MPR driver.

We have a visual gap between Hinz and Warrington.

O’Neill really has his hands full defending his position.

We have confirmation of Rodriguez’s retirement.

Now the pressure falls onto Worseling.

The timing shows how the top 10 has moved since the start of the race.

Elleker goes for a move on Dilain.

However, it’s Keranen who manages to make a move on the AMR driver instead.

Gilson has gone into the wall! That’s race over for one of the championship contenders.

From Worseling’s view, it looks like Gilson locked up and ran wide, resulting in the SCR driver running into the wall. However, it seems that Gilson locked up as a result of trying to avoid contact with Copeman.

We have confirmation of Gilson’s retirement. The SCR driver will be hoping for a miracle if he is to stay in contention for the championship.

Let’s take a look at the current standings.

Nell is going for a move on Keranen.

And the reigning champion succeeds in getting ahead.

Jalving has his hands full defending from Cremasco.

The longer Elleker stays behind Keranen, the more chances Mills gets to close in.

Dilain has hit the wall.

Everyone directly behind now has to be careful not to hit the loose wheel.

Replay shows he went in on his own.

The field has bunched up once again.

The MTPs are in a battle, however it looks like one of them is out wide.

It’s Silvestre that ran wide, and now his race is over.

Another car has hit the wall, this time the One of De Bruyker.

Pedersen is going for a move on Cremasco.

And the MAC driver succeeds in getting ahead.

Worseling is SCR’s only hope of scoring points for their constructors title chances.

Not much has changed in the battle for the lead.

As we ride with O’Neill, let’s check out the standings.

This doesn’t look good for Worseling.

With nowhere else to go, he hits the wall and loses a wheel.

Mills is chasing down Jalving.

We may have a move for the lead taking place.

We have a new race leader.

Mills has managed to get ahead of Jalving.

In the background, we have a MAC Racing car facing the wrong way.

It’s Pedersen.

He manages to get going again.

Cremasco sets his sights on chasing down Jalving.

We have another casualty. This time it’s Keranen who has hit the wall.

Jalving is going for a move on Mills.

He can’t make it work, and now Cremasco has managed to close in again.

Another car has gone off, and to the looks of it it’s the AMR of Elleker.

It is indeed Elleker.

He managed to get going again, and now finds himself defending from Pedersen.

Oh no! Jalving has been involved in an incident. What has happened to our championship leader?

Replay shows he had ran wide and was attempting to rejoin the track.

But in the process, he was collected by another car.

McClure was an innocent bystander as he was left with nowhere to go.

It was Scala who hit Jalving as the MPR driver was recovering.

Time for our first break. We hope to be back as soon as possible.

Oh man, are those walls magnetic or what? If it goes on like this less that half the grid will see the checkered flag.

How many cars have already run against that wall... we are not in Canada, are we?

Strange very strange...
