Next year lets just have AVUS 14 times. Plenty of history, and so much straight you're guaranteed overtaking. Win win for everyone ;)

Another great think is that you can use the same coverage 14 times and NOBODY will notice... :)

Why is everybody complaining on the Suzuka track... if there's a fault in the line on turn 1.... lets stick heads together and fix the line for driving into that corner...

there are a lot of specialists here amongst us who can fix that...

Suzuka is a fantastic track to drive... maybe all the others would prefer Aida instead... who is much difficult to drive, but that circuit was not on the vote list !

Btw last season I was the only one getting of in the last turn at Hockenheim... still don't know why... but i'm not complaining that Hockenheim is in the list, why?

... Because it's an Historic circuit with a soul and needs to put on the calender everytime just like Spa-Francorchamps, Magney-Cours, Monza, Interlagos, Montreal, Adelaide, Donington Park...

but some of them are not in the list... instead it's boring Melbourne and Silverstone.... instead of awesome Adelaide and Donington Park

We even don't have a French Grand Prix this year... and there are 9 drivers "so far" who don't have a home Grand Prix this season.

Maybe something for next year:" If it's possible ", looking that every driver and test driver has a home Grand Prix where he can defend his colors before his home crowd !

We have this year 16 different nationalities "so far" and only 8 of them have a home GP - England, Australia, Germany, Brazil, Italy, Netherlands, Canada and Belgium

We have NO race in Uruguay, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Switzerland, Ireland and Portugal.

Maybe because there are no circuits/tracks from that country, or their are, and we don't use them.

Something to think about for the future, instead of complaining about 1 track.

The guys who made this competition possible are doing a fantastic job and they need our support instead of always complaining and whining.

I'm glad with the list and I hope we have a great season, thx GPGSL (Y)

In the CSM mod Stoopid can make a change in the numcars.ini file that Milos won't take part in the Suzuka race.

I thought exactly the same thing today LOL....

Honestly, we are never all going to like the same tracks, or the same layouts. Big deal, move on. Enjoy it for what each track brings.....

I'd have thought that most people would be happy with the track choices given the vote, seems I was mistaken.

Don't confuse loud screaming of some with majority. Those who scream the loudest often create the impression they were a majority while in fact, they're most often not. It's the same what currently happens in politics. Fact is that the majority voted 6 tracks to complement the 8 pre-known tracks and hence make it a good and balanced calendar. So the majority should be more or less happy with the calendar. And the rest has another chance next season. You're never gonna make everybody happy anyway.

I'm good with Road America.

But still surprised that Sochi and Sahkir were still voted. I thought most of you hated the Tilkedromes

Plus, every single track that was up for being chosen allows overtakes to some degree. So regardless of whether people do or don't like a specific track, the GPGSL weekends should be interesting.

I'm personally a little disappointed Bahrain and Sochi didn't make it. If you've not tried Sochi in GP4, the first sector allows for some fantastic overtakes (lets ignore the last two sectors), whilst Bahrain night looks fantastic, and also provides action. I mean I'm ok with literally every track that was available (because I ok'd them ;)) but I think it's easy to forget that a dull track in real life can be a brilliant virtual racing venue and vica versa. As all I'm going to do is watch the weekend coverage rather than physically drive round the track, I'd rather the coverage was worth watching! ;)

Thanks for missing me out.

Lol the amount of salt in this thread. Didn't think it would go this far from one thumb down comment, as Ruben made a bad comment about Barcelona earlier and that went down pretty unnoticed. I thought I was allowed to dislike tracks but seemingly no. Okay then..

If anyone doesn't like a track let me know and I can edit the mod so you don't take part in that GP. Any takers? ... No? I didn't think so ;)

Well we have like 3 tracks here (4 counting the temporary ex-Formula E circuit) and none of them exceed 4km, so races would be like the Hungaroring. I hoped someone would make the FE track (it's available on rFactor) so I could at least put it in the Nations Cup to annoy everybody but seems it won't happen.

Anyway, we have less races and more chances for the track you like to not be there. It was fairly democratic, and these discussions happen in democracy too so I don't think it's worth complaining. Maybe we can run campaings to have people vote certain tracks? That'd be fun.

MPR has officially unveiled its Season 11 GPGSL challenger, with its aim "to win both championships"

The MPR-10 hit the track for the first time on Friday, with Charrel Jalving and Carlos Rodriguez clocking up just under 100 kilometres between them at Silverstone as part of a promotional event.

MPR claimed its first constructors' championship in Season 9, but slipped back to second in the standings last year, behind Aston Martin, despite scoring five wins.

"After a highly successful Season 10 all round, our priority has been to identify the areas in which we were weakest and to try to improve on those," said team owner Dan Paddock.

"Our objective is excellence in all areas and, while we had some fantastic results last year, there are many areas in which we can still be much better.

"That's the kind of culture we try to instil throughout the whole organisation - one of constantly striving to reach something better.

"We had a number of races that didn't go to plan in Season 10, so there were a lot of things that needed improving this time around.

"We are seeking optimisation absolutely everywhere."

The car will be put through its paces on Monday for the first day of testing at Barcelona's Catalunya circuit, with Jalving at the wheel.
