Carl_gpgames: ... but now everything is set to 2010 inside the 2012. Did i do something wrong?

No, it was my fault: a globalvars.ini from 2010 mod has been mistakenly put into the cmu. Thank you for the hint.
I have fixed this, so please download the GPaedia2012_update_CSM_mod_MSchumi24 again.

Thanks for reply, so you made a lot of mods, can you tell me which of your mods is the most "lightest"? Or which have low lod for cars and rims?

Surely the current 1997 Mod is the "lightest", also suitable for dated PCs. Find it here: [www.grandprixgames.org]

Another fairly light Mod is 1999. You can get it here: [www.grandprixgames.org]

As for the other Mods, they are all a little higher quality but do not require a super PC anyway.
Do you think that until recently, I was running GP4 on a simple Dual-Core with 4GB Ram and a old video card.
And I must say that, now that I have an Eight-Core PC with 16GB Ram and a cutting-edge video card, it is true that I can run current games like Codemasters F1, but instead the good old GP4 slows down perhaps even more than on the old PC.
This is because GP4 has been developed and optimized for single-core processors. So in fact it cannot take advantage of Multi-Core processors.

I hope I was helpful :-)

If I understand correctly what you ask I think it is already implemented.
However in mod of more recent seasons, for sure.

But how? When I start the race the whole grid have same compound? I want the half with soft compound and the other half with medium compound... Is posible make this?

I don't know, honestly. I think it's a random choice of cpu.

Maybe in performance file can do something, thanks for reply again :)

In perfomance files at the end you have this:

[TyreTextureNames]
Name #00=pirelli
Name #01=rim
Name #02=enkei

[TreadTextures]
Type #00=0
Type #01=1
Type #02=2
Type #03=3
Type #04=3
Type #05=3
Team #00=0
Team #01=0
Team #02=0
Team #03=0
Team #04=0
Team #05=0
Team #06=0
Team #07=0
Team #08=0
Team #09=0
Team #10=0

And in Data folder you have Tyres, and Treads folder on it. Here you have all tyres textures.

In Perfomance file you need to change something here, but I dont know what.

As I see, all cars have "Pirelli" tyre texture, but in treads folder we have 5 different textures folders

Yes, I know, but is posible change the treads for some cc? I want 14 cars with soft compound and 8 with medium compound... Anyone knows how I can do that?

You can only change per team, so in theory 14 of 1 compound and 8 of another is fine, but you can't vary between teammates.
As you say, it's controlled by the performance file - so it can vary between GPs. The bit you want to change is under Tread Textures.
For each Team - choose 0 is for the option compound and 1 for the prime compound for that particular race.

Looking at the performance files, they're all set to 0.

I've not tested it, but changing a few teams from 0 to 1 should bring some variety.
e.g.

[TreadTextures]
Team #00=0
Team #01=1
Team #02=0
Team #03=1
Team #04=0
Team #05=1

I do that, but the result was white tyres? You know how I can fix that?

Assigning 1 will make it look for tyre textures named "rim". That part is only meant for the wheel textures though.

Some mods
F1 1996 | F1 2002 | F1 2007 | F1 2011 | F1 2013 | F1 2015 | F1 2018

ah yes that's true, the 2012 tyres have the sidewall mapped to the tread not the rim unlike other tyres.
