McLaren/Toyota
Very nice from Liuzzi and Monteiro. Kobayashi and Wilson should improve.

Slightly dissapointing for Ferrari, good result with Red Bull.

Looking forward to qualifying

Shouldn't it be 'van der Garde' instead of 'Gaarde'??

Toyota/McLaren
Good result for both Toyota cars. McLaren are a hundred percent off the pace.

BMW Sauber

Disappointing. Looks like we're going down to the order. Expecting a hard race and we're about to have a tough one. We hope to score some few points.

Super Aguri

Seems like a good session for us. Petrov in 16th is very good for the Russian, meanwhile Speed in 20th doesn't look too bad. Hopefully we have a great first race.

Williams
Nice work from Sutil. Very disappointed with Hulkenberg. He`s let me down on numerous occasions.

Toro Rosso
Not bad from both drivers. They both did well :)

2007 Australian Grand Prix

So here we are, the season opener. Michael Schumacher took pole in the Ferrari yesterday, can he convert it into the win?

5 lights and it's gooooo

Schumacher has a poor start

And loses the lead to Hamilton

Raikkonen is up into 4th with Webber challenging Button for 5th

Webber goes off though

He drops to the back

Button looks to pass Raikkonen

And gets the move done

There's contact at the back

It was Nick Heidfeld

A look at the top 8

Rosberg goes down the inside of Vettel

Massa hits the back of Badoer and punts him off

That puts him in 22nd

Schumacher has a run on Hamilton at the front

He's going for it

And he takes the lead

Vettel is keeping Rosberg in his sights

Fisichella defends from Coulthard

Off goes Barrichello

Massa goes off too

Alonso is looking to pass Hamilton

The Spaniard is through

Ralf Schumacher defends well against Montoya

Button has a run on his teammate

And the World Champion goes into 3rd

Montoya finally gets past Schumcher

Verstappen looks to pass Kovalainen

Kovalainen holds firm

Verstappen hits the back of the Finn

Kovalainen is off

He rejoins in 18th

Massa goes down the inside of Barrichello

The top 8 after 10

Coulthard is still behind Fisichella

And can't find a way through

Button is all over the back of Alonso

Montoya makes a move on Vettel

Vettel defends well

Button hits the back of Alonso

Alonso's in the gravel

Button goes into 2nd

But Alonso drops to the back

Coulthard still can't find a way past Fisichella

Webber goes past Verstappen

Badoer runs into Petrov

Off goes Petrov

Badoer spins

Problems for Rosberg

A trasmission failure ends his race

Spin for one of the Toyota's

It's Vettel

Fisichella is still keeping Coulthard at bay

Michael Schumacher is cruising out front

Alonso goes past Heidfeld

Webber hits the back of Schumacher

He spins

And Schumacher is in the gravel

Schumacher rejoins in 11th

Webber 12th

Sutil goes down the inside of Coulthard

And then Fisichella

Who is then past by Coulthard! Where was that earlier?

Here's the top 8

Massa passes his teammate

Button pits

Montoya has a run on Sutil

And goes into 5th

Sutil wants the place back

Coulthard goes past Raikkonen

Who is then passed by Sutil

The Finn runs wide as a result

The top 8

Kovalainen can't defend against Vettel

Massa locks up

Which allows Hulkenburg a run on him

And the Williams man is through

Massa looks to take the place back

And does

Sutil looks to pass Coulthard

Job done

Badoer and Speed are battling

Speed closes the door on Badoer

And ends up in the gravel after the collision

Ralf has Alonso for company

Alonso makes the pass

Fisichella runs wide

Massa goes into 10th

Now Hulkenburg goes by

Alonso is off again

Is that Ralf now passing Fischella too?

Montoya has a moment

Stays in 6th

Sutil is in the pits

Schumacher is way out in front still

Massa is putting pressure on Coulthard

The Scot can't handle it and spins (unaided)

He rejoins right in the path of Webber

CRUNCH!

Coulthard is out

Raikkonen is stuck behind the stricken Ferrari

Which is eventually cleared

Hulkenburg spins

That doesn't look good

Contact!

Barrichello will have to pit

Button is currently 2nd

Way behind Schumacher who pits

Here's the top 8

Raikkonens to lift to let the race elader through

And Verstappen takes advantage around the outside

MICHAEL SCHUMACHER WINS

Ferrari

Amazing win by Michael! Too bad Webber was at the wrong place, wrong time.

Red Bull

Very satisfied by a double point finish! Especially after that qualifying, good job JP and Jos!

BMW Saubrer

Happy with the result. Ralf finishing 10th is a one point which is good for the team. Nick had a tough race but finished 15th. Not too bad for our first race of 2007.

Super Aguri

Has been good race for both of our drivers. Petrov was in good place but then he got hit by Badoer which cost him. 18th and 19th was good result but unfortunately we might struggle once again this season.

McLaren
Pleased with that drive from Massa. 18th to 6th is an impressive result.

Toyota
Not the race that we wanted to have. This was a crazy one as Räikkönen was stuck.

Also, why does McLaren have 18 points and Toyota 12?

A great weekend for us, an almost perfect start to the season. Unfortunately Michael was just too quick.

It's nice that we are in the Top 6.

McLaren
Poorly run practice.

We should be satisfied with 8th and 9th. Pedro and Pastor so close between them. We'll see what quali awaits us.

Super Aguri

Result is good so far. Montagny 18th and Alguersuari 15th. This might be interesting.
