Gp4 still not opening with No-CD patch

hi guys,

I tried a search but nothing came up for my issue.

I download a ready to play version of GP4 with no-CD patch, but once I open the GPxPatch file, it still ask to insert the CD.

I have a laptop with no CD drive, is this the issue? thanks, and sorry if this has been raised already.

Right, even with the NO-CD patch, GP4 needs a CD device, not necessary a physical one, just mount a virtual cd (there´s a lot of software to create virtual devices(Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel, MagicISO, ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver, DAEMON Tools Lite, Alcohol, etc. ), there´s no need to mount any iso, just be sure that Windows shows a cd device, that´s all.
