Hello out there

I'd rather like to give it a try to build some gp4 cars by myself but unfortunately I don't have zmodeler 1.0b which seems to be the only tool which is capable of importing *.gp4-files.
Could anybody help me out?

best regards

Zmodeler v1.07b + filters and plugins

I have added to this version several interesting filters and plugins (UV export plugin is very useful to extract your UVMapping in .eps format to make a template of your car/ object)

I'm going to study now the logical matters of the program, hihi... hopefully I will check it all (at least most of them...)

Those were my plans at least...
Unfortunately I get the following message when I start zmodeler: "switching to software mod" "no 3d device" "das neue dokument konnte nicht erstellt werden" in that order. so what to do? :(
This is my graphic card: NVIDIA GForce GTX 650

@huskyman49: If you can't launch Zmodeler and that you are running under windows 10, click-right on Zmodeler.exe, check properties and set the compatibility mode on Windows XP SP3 and run as administrator.
If you can launch Zmodeler but that you have got "switching to software mod" "no 3d device" messages , this is because Zmodeler 1.07b does not supoport all large screens resolutions. Just click OK on these messages boxes and on the menu bar, click on Options/ 3D View/ Select device... and check that it is configured on Direct 3D T&L HAL (by default)

PS: Zmodeler is handling 1920x1080 screen resolution. If you have got a higher resolution, maybe the issue could be because of this....

Hope that it will help you: [forum.zmodeler2.com]

Thanks a lot :) - the problem was actually caused by my screen resolution of 3840x2160...

Massive bump I know, but how precisely did you fix it, with the Res-O-Matic? Got new screens with resolution 3840x2160, get the same messages (i.e. switching to software mode, no 3d device). Can't seem to get it working, at least not without 3rd party app...

nvm, fixed it.

2 solutions
a) use the res-o-matic app mentioned in the zmodeler forum post Excalibur posted
b) Have the scaling options in the windows display settings at 200% at least (in case of 4K). Basically gives the same "view" as 1920x1080 (=1/2 4K), which seemingly is the highest resolution zmodeler 1.07b can handle.

Strange .. I did not have to do this whole reengineering to get this tool working (in Windows 10 Pro x64).

This is what I did:

1) Run this program in compatibility mode (Win98 / Me)
2) disable full screen optimizations
3) run this program as administrator

I was talking about 4k, not full HD. As said, it works with the latter...
