Awesome Arnaud (Y)

I Played a little bit with the tyres but they are not as good as yours my friend...

Thank you, Bernard! :)
Nice work on your tyres. The final result looks better than mine, with wider rounded edges on the tread. (Y)
My actual problem concerns front flaps and brakes support. When I turn the front wheels at low speed, wheel and flaps are touching each other and you can see also inner rim.
So, I am working on integrating brakes support and flaps on the wheel and extending the suspensions arms on the car so that we can't see a hole between suspension and rim when turning.

The grey/ silver texture is perfect for this Mercedes! Happy new Year and best wishes to you, my friend! :)

observing this tire well I would like to ask a question ..
the rim is stopped since it reads well the brand of it, while the tire is in motion considering that the firelli brand is not read ... but then the car is in motion or was it stop ?
Very good question my lady ..... and well observed. I will delve more into this phenomenon for the answer .... unless someone here already has it.:-)

I think that is in relation with the functions coded in game for the wheel objects and the effect applied to the wheel when rotating:
F_wheel_R_Tread
F_wheel_R_TyreI
F_wheel_R_TyreO
These objects are rotating and attached to the tread textures

The others objects simulate the rotation in game by an effect and are attached to the rim (wheel) texture. As you know, the 3 wheel textures are the same with no rotation effect, contrary to the treads (right_0= original rim fixed; right_1= 10-15% rotation; right_2= 30% rotation)

So, I think that when you take a screenshot, it doesn't capture the effect applied on the wheel (rim) as we see it game. It just take a capture of the texture at the current speed range: Hi-speed: Tread: right_2=30% rotation / Wheel: wheel_xxx_2= original rim

Edit:
Now that I am thinking of it, Lee had built 2D rims tyres. He has made textures with rotating rims, like the treads. I am wondering if the effect was visible on screenshots. I don't remember but probably.
Edit2: In terms of comparison:
- On my 2021 wheels, the rim cover doesn't rotate on screenshot at high speed because rim texture is the same on the 3 wheel textures
- On Bernard's 2021 wheels, the rims covers are rotating on the screenshots (look above) because he has made rotating rims textures

Applying a rotation effect on a flat surface is easy but if we try to make a rotating rim texture on a 3d rim, it would look strange! ^^
