Not really as you don't know what the budgets of other teams are ;)

Funny thing is, he's actually statistically a better driver than Yamamoto who scored some points in the higher variance test. The higher variance test definitely made it a little more unpredictable

That`s what i`ve been trying to say. Also i`m making a new account now. It`ll be called Divine. I`ll create a post :)
2006 Chinese Grand Prix

Hello and welcome to the 2006 Chinese Grand Prix. Giancarlo Fisichella is on pole in the Williams with Mark Webber's Toyota alongside, who will get the win though? Can Button win a 4th in a row?

A quick look at the weather forecast shows that today's race is going to be wet, will that benefit some teams?

It's lights out and away we go

Fisichella retains the lead through the first few corners with Montoya up to 5th

Later on in the lap we see that Jenson Button has found a way past Trulli for 3rd

Montoya fancies a pass on Trulli at the end of the back straight

Trulli defends well to keep the place

A look at the current top 8

Ralf Schumacher has a Mclaren for company

He stays ahead for the time being

Hamilton runs wide, as does Alonso in 8th

Hamilton loses a place to Massa but Alonso spins

Alonso eventually continues in last

It's tight in the midfield

No such problems for our race leader though

Montoya is having another look at Trulli

He gets it done this time

Sutil looks for a way past Doornbos

But runs wide in his attempts to pass

Or did he? Looks like he collided with Doornbos, who is off the track too

Sutil is down to 21st

Hamilton runs wide again

He drops to 9th

Montoya has a run on Button

Button defends and keeps the place

Sakon Yamamoto finds himself in a spot of bother

He's down to 13th

Spin for Massa!!

That's dropped him right down

One of the Spyker cars is close to Sutil and Alonso

Alonso makes the pass with ease

Button runs wide

That allows Montoya through

Alonso runs wide

And spins again

Meanwhile his teammate is passed by Ralf Schumacher

Trulli doesn't have a response

A spin for Robert Doornbos in the Toro Rosso

He drops to last

A look at the standings after 10 laps

Ralf Schumacher is up to the back of Button

Da Matta spins

Down to 20th for him

The two Ferrari's are battling

Race leader Fisichella pits

Ralf Schumacher has a run on Button

And the German is through

Montoya is stuck behind Sato in 12th, Sato is yet to pit though

Hamilton is in 9th ahead of his teammate

Montoya didn't wait for Sato to pit, he's through into 5th

Raikkonen runs wide

And drops to 9th

Glock has an issue

A problem with his brakes ends his race

Trulli pits

He runs wide a lap later, he's struggling to get temperature into those tyres

Hamilton takes 9th from the Italian

Another spin for Da Matta

He's in 21st

Alonso's really struggling out there

He drops down behind Da Matta. This could be the end of any lingering title hopes

A look at the top 8 with 30 gone

Sutil looks to pass Trulli

Job done

Webber pits from 3rd

What's going on there?

Looks like Hamilton is going to pass Sutil

No! Good defending by the Honda driver

Ralf Schumacher pits

Montiero finds himself in the gravel

He drops to 19th

Wait a minute! Webber has an issue!

Webber is out! I repeat, WEBBER IS OUT OF THE RACE

Montoya looks to pass Yamamoto

Yamamoto isn't giving it up though

It's job done eventually though

Trulli spins

He drops to 17th

It's plain sailing (no pun intended) for Fisichella at the front

Button is in for a pit stop

He comes out in 3rd

Montoya spins the Red Bull

He drops 4 places

Button's lost a place to Massa somewhere

A spin for Sato as Fisichella pits

He loses a place to Ralf Schumacher

Michael Schumacher is in from 2nd

He comes out behind Button in 4th

Montoya looks to pass Sutil

The Red Bull driver takes the place

One of the Toro Rosso cars has a problem

It's a brakes problem for Doornbos

Button runs wide and drops behind Michael Schumacher!!

Here's the top 8

Heidfeld runs wide in the BMW

He loses a place to Ralf Schumacher

Karthikeyan is the latest to spin

Ralf Schumacher pits with 4 laps to go.

Montoya is in too

Schumacher is out in 8th

Montoya in 10th

Button runs wide again, is he cracking under pressure? Fortunately for him he keeps 3rd

That doesn't look good

An oil leak ends Coulthard's race

Looks like Sato could get a point but he has Alonso for company

Fisichella wins!

Wow Renaults why are you such low key bottlers... Hamilton ran wide twice and came out just fine, yet ALonso ran wide twice and spun both times.. surely you learn from your errors man.. that's full of crap

Honda
Good job for both my Honda boys. Despite making a mistake, Sutil showed some good defending and Massa proved that a big position drop doesn't mean we won't be in the points.
Toyota

Absolutely gutted for Mark but it was a good result for Jenson. Jenson's in great form at the minute.

Ferrari

Can't argue with 2nd and 6th!

Williams-Ferrari
What a brillaint result from Giancarlo! Well done! Very pleased. I`m not as pleased with Da Matta.

It`s me Morgiman by the way. I have my new account up :)

Since when did you take control of Ferrari? That's 2 top teams my friend

Only in the interim whilst Jawz is away. I don't want to give his team away. He's not been on since October

Saying that, any longer and I may not have a choice. It's only Morgiman who doesn't own two teams at the moment so he'd get Ferrari

BMW Sauber

Great result today, Nick with another 4th is the best result from the German. Meanwhile Ralf was struggling to catch up the top 5 but for some reason he has to take the strategy from that opinion. We're somehow happy with the result with Nick taking 4th and Ralf 8th but unfortunately we could be out of title contention so there's no way back.

Super Aguri

It seems a good day overall on damp conditions and looks like the overall result is not too bad as we think. Some mistakes from our boys but they drove brilliantly out there.
Oh Guys I was filling in for Ferrari due to his inactivity. I thought I could leave a small opinion for them.

2006 Japanese Grand Prix - Practice and Qualifying Results

Okay Guys! I`m now managing both Williams and Toro Rosso.
Honda
Toyota and Honda on the front row? This will be epic for sure.
Williams
Giancarlo`s 8th position is impressive. It`s just what I expect from such a strong driver and car.
Da Matta`s 17th is highly disappointing. I`m very annoyed.

Toro Rosso
Both Coulthard and Doornbos have perfomed to their standards and I look forward for the future. They`re good drivers with plenty of potential.
not bad, just don't bottle it this time Fernando and it should be a decent race

GPGSL - Yakuza driver

BMW Sauber

Seems like we're slipping down in the order, not a great result for BMW in qualifying. Hopefully in the race we'll try to manage everything to have a strong race. It's terrible to have a bad quali again like that.

Super Aguri

18th and 20th in quali sounds like a good result, but there's more things to do because we expect a difficult race from our both drivers. Somehow we hope they may hold on to cross the chequered flag, there's nothing to lose.
