GPGSL S10: Season over! Thank you and goodbye. See you in S11 ||v||

TNR Leave the GPGSL to the sound of wet farts at midnight

Well.. that's it. A pleasure to have been a team entrant for all these years, the magic and fun of the car liveries and chat has been wonderful. A massive thank you to all moderators, race directors and members for keeping this fabulous place running. You guys are brilliant, and this has been a huge part of my young adult life. To the next wave of teams, good luck, and enjoy every moment because its the little things in life that keep you ticking. This online group of friends is just that, despite having never met any of you, I actually hold some of you in my mind as I do the physical friends that live down the road.

All the best guys! From all at the True North team; So Long, and Thanks for all the fish :)

I can confirm that the MTP lineup and car shape are correct and also add that we'll be driving with Dunlop tyres.

The numbers will obviously be adapted before the car is submitted to the GPGSL.

On another note, with Jake leaving, we need a new activity checker, unless I missed something and somebody already went for it. I remember somebody mentioning interest in helping with the tables, but this job is pretty much covered with Maikel and Glen for next season. Could this person, whoever it was, imagine doing the activity checks instead?

GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)
I'm happy to do the checks again given I had previously done them about...three seasons? before I 'retired' - given I'm getting more involved with the series (thank you Connor for letting me co-commentate with you on Sunday) I may as well get stuck in fully :)

No worries! It was a hell of a lot of fun. I appreciate the comments from everyone else too, glad to coverage lived up to what I'd hoped, and hopefully there will be more of it next season (unless Monaco is on the calendar, hell no ;))

Now to focus on what is hopefully my impending return to the series...

* What happened with the fixed numbers of the drivers... my number was #10 and so far as I know... still is !

I thought that only the Champion (in this case: S.Nell) could chose if he drives with the #1 or with his fixed driver number.

All the cars who are allready made have to change all the numbers again, as all the drivers who did put there number on top of the helmet ( Just like me ).

Why did we have to choose a fixed number at the beginning of last season... if you change it again.

When did fixed numbers EVER get ruled on??? It was discussed, but as far as I remember, it was decided that we stick with the same number formats that GPGSL has always had......??? Sounds like clarification on this better be given!

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
There is no fixed number rule. It was suggested by Rod, but shot down (thank God).

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
I believe Marcus is mistaking this league for the GP3 league Rod used to run and which Greg is making a project to run now. In there, champion has number 1 (last season was me btw ;)) and the rest have fixed F1 style numbers.

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps

Yes... that's it, you damn right Carlos... sorry to everyone for my post, but what were the odds to drive in two leagues with the same number... it overcame me last season.

GPGSL-4 S10 driving with #10
GPGSL-3 S10 driving with #10

so the number on my helmet in this league has to be removed and changed in #7 (maybe lucky seven) for next season !

Championship statement Sebastian Nell

YES! We did it! What an unbelievable season No. 10 was! I've always denied to be a part of the championship battle even though I was first most of the season... we were quite strong but I thought that the topteams would overtake us over the course of the season. They didn't, so I finally recognized our chance after the second-last race.
I never believed in the victory, even when the race went so well. Only at the final lap after the final corner I thought "We did it?" to then celebrate hard after the start-finish line. The four laps before were the longest I've ever experienced. When John started fighting through the field I could only hope that he wasn't too fast to keep behind me. Also the sounds that the car made... perfectly normal without pressure but I feared every single second of the race for a technical failure.
Speaking of it, I'd like to thank Glen and the whole team of Demon racing for the fantastic car they produced. We were constantly fast the whole season while save from technical issues our competitors had. Guys, you are awesome! I'd also like to thank Dan for his help over the course of the season, especially his moves at Emmeloord to bring me in front of John Maverick. It was a great move by him and I'd like to return the favour at some point in the future.
Also a big shoutout to John Maverick and Jack Elleker. Both were very fair opponents and both of them would've been worthy champions in other circumstances during the race at Emmeloord. Thanks, you two, for the great battles we had this season and good luck next season!

So I'm not retiring ;) Looking forward to next season and hope to score a race win or two. Also very much looking forward to that sweet number I'm going to have on my car!

Hahahahahahahaha...

I suggested because it's easier to update carset! At least, on GP3, I reorder only pit lane team positions and change champion car!! I know this preference divides opinion, no problem.

Only waiting to update my One car and send files!! =D

One Racing driver and team manager
GPGSL-3: champion in 2007/2013/2014!

That was me who asked if I could help with the tables. If that's all good to go for Season 11 (BTW, the font type for the text in the tables should be one of the DIN style fonts, but can't remember the exact one), then I guess I could help with the activity checks. May take awhile to get used to it though since it'll be my first time doing those.
