GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.

Just bought myself a spanking new Dell laptop for work. Think I will get GP4 running and who knows... maybe I can find my way back to the editing side of GP4 once again!?

Time to rekindle my old abandoned track making folder!

If the track is released tomorrow as Ruben plans, then I will be looking to run the weekend similarly to an F1 weekend. FP will be Friday, quali Saturday and the race Sunday.

The current plan (unconfirmed) is (all times GMT+0):
Free Practice: Friday 2nd December 22:00
Qualifying: Saturday 3rd December 12:00
Race: Sunday 4th December 10:00

Times are never going to work out decent for everyone, but I've tried to make them work for as many people as I could. Sorry to the Brazilians/Argentinians for the bad race time, I tried to make it as suitable as I could for Australia!
I'll confirm all these times closer, and will post before every session to notify everyone.

GMT +0 would be London time right? In that case I don't think I'll be able to stick for Qualy but for race, I am there. And if Skype allows it, I could do an interview! People will think that you're talking to a Fernando Alonso wannabe I think I still have you added from the last race you streamed in Boromo. My skype is... dusty, to say the least.

Track looks fantastic! Great job.

If you're worried about there being plenty of action, in just five laps of testing the track managed to give me this:


which resulted in this:


It's safe to say there are 3 or 4 overtaking chances per lap, with plenty of opportunity for side by side racing, so have no fear. I might do a video preview if my testing goes smooth tomorrow.

Was the AI errors set to the correct amount? If they are set too high, then that could be the cause of that incident. Still, as long as the track has a few chances for overtakes and side by side racing, it should make for a great race to watch.

AI errors are set to 4. The incident showed by Connor can sometimes occur because 3 cars wide into a corner leaves little room for not making contact. In most cases the drivers respect each other.

Yup I only showed the one where it went bad, there were plenty of other cases where everyone just slotted back to single file. So there won't be flipping cars as a regular feature

Sorry for the compression, I was trying out a new software, and the lack of embedding, GPG seems to be having a problem with that right now.

Carlos I do still have you on skype. If anyone else wants to potentially do an "interview", PM me for skype details. I might be doing "segments" including the track preview before/after each session, so feel free to tune in slightly before the scheduled times. I'd be happy for any written press releases to be posted too about next season/the weekend/whatever, gives me extra discussion points.

The session times posted before are still set to go ahead so I repeat:
