Well I do keep seeing you talk to your car after most races, so maybe there's something you're not telling us ;)

"All you had to do was be faster than the other cars!" ;)

It does the opposite to going faster than the other cars, so I don't think it listens to me ;)

It's funny how TNF1 imploded when Owen left :( Sad times!

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

Oh, yeah, but only one and some time ago ;)
I think it was... Darth Vader vs Hitler.

One absentee this time.

Tom Pellatt (Team Shadow) - Last active: May 31st, 2016 (3rd warning)

Next deadline: 17th July.

We really need to consider creating an internal timetable, because the turnaround time between this and the last race...it's getting really silly now. I appreciate people have things to do, but if we were able to schedule when perfs were calculated and checked, putting mods together and suchlike, then we could get a race done every two weeks if not sooner.

I want to suggest that the GPGSL doubles up on positions so that people can take over the mantle when the lead members are busy. We also need to devise a way of running and presenting ways in a format that takes as little time as possible so that people can meet any scheduled target times.

To answer the perfs bit, Stu did the perfs pretty much immidiately after the boost deadline closed, just the delay was that myself and John were too busy on that particular week to do anything about it.

Indeed. Three for two usually works okay for the perfs. In this case, it was just a particularly bad timing.

Generally I agree, though, that doubled positions would be the optimum. The only issue with this is, however, where to take the people for it? If no more people contribute regularly, double-positioning is simply not working.

Another thing that causes a huge delay these days is the mods. This is really no criticism, Ruben, but it generally takes a week or more these days after the perfs have been created for them to be published, although there are often not many changes to be made. Also I have the impression that you only start with the mod after the perfs have been published. Is this so, and if so, what's the reason for it? Again, this is no criticism, I'm just trying to find solutions for a better working process and to reduce the waiting times.

I think the quality of this series is phenomenal. But it shouldn't be on cost of losing people because of boredom, caused by such long delays. For a long time, we could keep up a superbly high quality AND a good progress speed because of a team of exceptionally dedicated people. These days, things have changed a bit and I agree we need to find new ways.

This is because there a lot of (last minute) driver changes with the test drivers this season. I don't want to do the works twice.

Well, my humble opinion is that I'd rather have somebody drive a race in the car of his/her predecessor than causing even further delay just to make sure the name signature at the side of the car or a wing sponsor is correct. Since the drivers and their perfs are handled by the perfs anyway, I would say you're good to go even before the perfs are published. And when there are no changes, there's no need for a fresh mod anyway. Changes announced until then are included, changes announced later will only be included for the race after. That's pretty much what the rules say anyway (a one race notice time). Only in our hunt for perfectionism, we weakened this rule quite a lot lately. But with so many changes, it's something people have to live with and certainly can live with if it means massively shorter waiting times.

This.
I don't even pay attention to the names, on many car liveries I've made I didn't even put the side names! ;)

(however, the extra workload required here may be to keep the high quality of the mods. I've never done this myself with such detail, so I don't quite know what exactly is required..)
