Hello everyone,

It has been a while since the SMD-ZG02 saw the light in 2011 and even longer since the SMD-ZG01 did the same (2009). But it is time to bring one final update to this line of cars from me.
And like you are probably used to from me, they come with an easy to paint template!

So without further ado, here they are! (Renders are made by Spidey a.k.a. Florian Gramsch)

SMD-ZG02HI

I really like the one with the low nose. Would be nice to see this car with wider sidepods and rear bumpers like a Formula E-car or an IndyCar. (hint hint hint) ;-)

These new cars would make the perfect templates for anyone looking to join our little offline competition at GP4 Central ;) (Y)

The shapes were rendered with 3ds max in connection with the Corona Render Engine :)

Very nice car updated, Maikel! Thanks for sharing! :-)(Y)

I like the low nose concept. Looks highly refined! :)
These shapes look so smootthhhhh. Thank you Maikel.:-)
Well Florian, I see you kept your skill for renders even if you are less visible here ;)

Thanks Maikel, a million thumbs up, Might use the low nose to add a bit of variety to my 2015F mod or for a possible 2016F mod.
Maikel, there is a gap at the front of the front wing with the side fins. The x-coordinate should be (-)0.693 instead of (-)0.698.

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
Hi!

Is it possible to use these car shapes without CSM, gpxpatch, and those modding tools. I mean, with only having the default GP4 and the GP4 patch v9'6.

Sorry if this is a silly question, I've been playing GP4 since way back in 2002 but never got into forums and mod stuff.

Thank you very much! :)

Yup very much possible! You are going to need Zaz GP4 tools though in order to break down and build back up the .wad files. It's manually modding by overwriting existing files in the compressed data file.

You need to choose which original team to replace and edit the car lods (.gp4) files to match this.

Maikel, is it possible, on GP4, to use a different carshape on each team???
