Hey guys,

anyone of you here racing with the DFGT, and willing to share his settings (ingame and profiler)? Tried setting mine up a few times now, but always returned to gamepad as I failed to find proper settings.
Any help appreciated :)

I'm using the DFGT but interestingly, I never really used it for GP4. Grew up playing it with keyboard back in the days and could never really get over this ;-) But maybe, if somebody else shares good settings, I might give it another try.

I can actually show you something on GP4 for once xD

and profiler

you could probably bump up the profiler 2x for force feedback, I was thinking of doing that myself too, but too lazy ;)

I'll have a ook at my Settings tonight and get 'em up here...

I'm using it and I'm very satisfied with the wheel...

My configuration at home...

@miki: Used to drive with keys as well but the wheel is a massive increase of fun!

it's not keys the game recognises the wheel stuff like that

Alright, got some settings now which feel pretty good.

Problems were too much degree of rotation in the profiler and low sensitivity zone ingame set too high.

Yeah, racing games usually need a quite low degree of rotation and quick sensitivity, unless the physics are rather slow, like in PCars. Thanks, I'll give it a try when I have time.

Sorry for the late answer, had some trouble but everything's fine now!

My settings are nearly the same as the ones from miki, so I think you should go good with these kedy!

Ok, I checked it again, I have totally different settings!!!!!!!

Tried the settings of both of you but wasn't able to drive a single lap!!!!

Where both of you have 0% for 'low sensitivity zone' I use 50%, my steering help is at 20% and the 'reduce with car speed" at 50%.
The "low sensitivity zone" for accelerating and breaking is set to 25%. Otherwise the wheels do block too fast when hitting the braking wheel. But with the braking behaviour I'm not satisfied to be honest...

with high value for steering low sensitivity zone I couldn't really take the corners precisely.

For braking/accelerating I thought of decreasing it a bit, 50 seems a bit too high.

Rest is probably own preference. If I think of Assetto Corsa, I've tried a few DFGT settings posted by others, which I couldn't driver with at all.

Maybe you should have a look at those settings from EnduRacers especially the part FFB PARAMETERS. I know they are not really for DFGT and GP4 but still, they are for Logitech and a video game. Maybe it is worth a try. (Don't forget the 'ForceFeedback section for G25' link as well)

Sorry for digging this one. Does anyone know how to make the sequential knob to work. I can change gears with the paddles but I would like to use the knob to work on older cars, like the 80's ones. On Automobilista I got this program (joytokey) working, using keys to registry the inputs. I did the same using space and shift to change gears but to no effect. It just doesn't recognise the inputs from the sequential knob at all. Did anyone tried something else?

I have a DFGT and had a look today, but I couldn't get it to work. There may be a way to do it, but I haven't found it personally.

Thanks anyway. I don't get why I can not registry any inputs from the knob in game. But I guess this is one of the perks of playing GP4 with a steering wheel.
