1925 WIP

No cars.wad is loaded. Why?

Friend, you say about the cars.wad of 1925? It only has LOD_0, see if your GP4 is set up for this. If it is, try loading the cars.wad on a basic track, such as Avus, Riverside, Bilbao, Eastern Creek sometimes I tracks with many objects the CARS.WAD crash.

If you can not tell me, we've tried to find a solution.

Hello livejackass. I've seen on your tuto of youtube that you have a Paris track ? Is it a fictional name or a really track ? It's my home and I'm interested

To everyone who has a CTD with all these mods. Extract cars.wad with wadupdater. Open an empty folder and place car1_lod_0 and car2_lod_0 of each 11 cars (arrows, minardi, bar, prost etc...). Rename them in lod_1, lod_2, lod_3 and lod_4.

You've got having for example :

car_arrows_car1_lod_0
car_arrows_car2_lod_0
car_arrows_car1_lod_1
car_arrows_car2_lod_1
car_arrows_car1_lod_2
car_arrows_car2_lod_2
car_arrows_car1_lod_3
car_arrows_car2_lod_3
car_arrows_car1_lod_4
car_arrows_car2_lod_4

Then replace all the files in the cars.wad folder and click "create wad" with wadupdater. It takes about 8-10 minutes.

Old mods by livejackass are very exciting. As you see below, I elevate the cockpit with team editor for a best sensation for a little and gentle ride in the country. I also made the loading screens as you see below too by starting with 1925-1929 photos. It's a really fantastic work by livejackass ! Thx.

Your first '???' might be Spa-Francorchamps (can't tell for the second one ). I'm not sure your Pau picture belongs actually to Pau : it looks like Monaco again for me.

I just checked and you're right. It's not Pau but Tazio Nuvolari in Monaco in 1932. The first "???" is the 24 Heures de Spa in 1929

Re- Spa, yes there's the hint of the adverts but I believe it's the downhill pitlane of Spa.

As for the last series, it's really hard to say anything without any hint for the first picture.
The second one might or might not be Monaco. It could be the harbour at the S/F line but I don't recognize the background.
In the last picture, the mountain in the background is Etna, so the track is Targa Florio.

Looking again at your first series of pictures:
For the very first one, I don't think it's Le Mans because cars were lined the opposite way of the track lane at Le Mans. And I don't believe there are mountains like that in the background in la Sarthe
I think the one you tagged as Rouen is actually Pau (The uphill in the park after the first turn and the railway bridge)
The one with the Traguardo banner is inverted (look at the sponsors on the left) And it is again Targa Florio.

Very impressive ! Why don't you write a book about the races history ? Comme quoi, il ne faut pas croire tout ce que disent les sites français (sorry, too hard for me to say it in english) about the pictures that they show. For the fun I will try to search more for these pictures with "google pictures"

I use their tracks and many many are very amazing. I'd just like to make one myself, Reims for example (there's one but not complete) and so many others Yes, we have the luck having very skill guys for our fun.

In fact, my problem is that I'm able to delay some objects with GP4Builder cause it's easy, but I don't how to add objects. That's what I'd like to learn. If I could, I would complete some free beta tracks. One of the only things I can do is modify some tracks adverts with adverts extracted from other tracks, but only for my personnal use cause their are not my tracks (permission question). I use to complete some mods for my personal use. I made almost 1000 loading screens for changing time by time (???). Indeed, I collect many mods, so I need many different loading screens (open wheels, moto, hot rod, trucks etc...). I collect many of those by Meteoro, so I need several screens for each item. I made full and HD screen (1920 x 1080) without black on the top and below, not because it's more easy but because black reduct the pictures. It's a pity.

I tried to install one of this mods (e.g. CART 1998) and after following steps from site, still mod cannot work in my case, game crashing or cars not load. Is there any better explaining how to proper install carset or maybe quick tutorial to transform this .wad file into CSM mod, which maybe would be easier?
