Sweet x3

Found and checked my excel file, you have 5059 boost points to spend.

I was doing the perfs now, but as Jack will be owning team Scotland, should I wait for him?

Well, possibly. :\
If Hunsley is sticking with Scotland, then most likely he'll keep the current livery, but what about driver name and car number? He can't keep #9 as that was the number Allington chose, and no idea if he will keep the same driver.

Oops I missed the deadline. Huge PC issues are preventing me from reading GPG with ease on my phone. So yeah, go Canada lol

I'd say you've waited long enough by now.

He can keep the #9. Driver doesn't really matter as the name doesn't appear anywhere except livery.

Rules
A participant keeps his number until he retires from the series, or changes it during his time active in the series.

Allington was kicked (=retired), so he lost rights to #9.

Don't worry about my perf choice for the next race, be easier for everyone if we just moved on asap to keep things going :-)

I'll keep the same driver and number as well (Y)

I'd say someone kicked for inactivity is completely different to someone retiring their car. Retiring suggested the car (plus the driver & number) are voluntarily removed from the series. If the team is still there to continue being used, I'd say the number + driver are a part of that team, until otherwise decided by the team's owner
Seems that I'm hoping a good race then, bring it on :)

but what if the team owner never returnes?

Make it simple please : someone is kicked out of the series for whichever reason it is he loses everything he previously had in the series (bar the boost points he earned in case he returns one day).

If you're kicked, your team and number aren't yours, the driver specifically is a case by case where the new manager should have the choice.
But no, team (country) and number are immediately forfeit imo.
So let's get this straight.

If a participant leaves on his own
- the number he held will be free again
- the nation he had will be free for other managers to pick for the following season, or the new entrant right on point of entry
- he keeps the extra boost points he gained, and gets them if he reenters at a later point

If a participant is kicked
- the number will be free
- the nation he had will be free for other managers to pick for the following season, or the new entrant right on point of entry
- the extra boost points he gained so far will be reset to 0 (check it, it's in the rules)

In both cases the championship points and boost points are manager-bound. That means, if a manager is kicked/retires mid-season, and the new entrant chooses the same nation, he will start at 0 WDC points and (remaining # of races) x 500 + extra boost points. That has happened before, in S3 icky disappeared (he had Canada), Natã took his spot with Mexico. A few rounds later Chris got in with Canada, started at 0 points. It hasn't been noted in the tables, but you can go through the thread and check it up if you don't believe me.

It makes no difference whether you retire or you're kicked, the nation you held will no longer participate until someone else picks it. In this case Jack just picked Scotland and #9 to reduce workload, he could've picked a different nation/number if he had wanted to. He still can do so after this season. The livery is the only thing were I draw a line, if Allington had retired I only would've allowed for the livery to be used further if he had agreed to it.

Fair enough, good points.

Will release the perfs later today

We're 40 points behind China with the first 7 races gone. A change in pace is desperately needed to bring Italy back in the top places. Perhaps Assen can be the the starting point.

I think this sums it up pretty well! It's also the easiest I guess
