time to piss everyone off

can someone explain in simpleton terms how to get gp4.exe patched 9.6 'DECRYPTED'

it just wont do it.

i got the patch9.6nocd and i copy it into the gp4 infogrames directory and it will copy it over the old gp4.exe

then when i have to use it in any of the editors etc. it says it is not patched!!!!!!!!


someone please help me.

This might be due to the fact that most editors (Carset Creator or Gp4Master for example) do not support 9.6.

Quick answer get the newer version of the editors.Although some still aren't working with the new patch yet.With gp4master rename the gp4 exe to oldgp4.exe or something and get the original decrpted gp4 exe and put it in then run gp4 master.

there is a tool called util patcher, take a look in the downloadsection and try this tool. With this u can use some editors for the 9.6 patch.

Or just use the SEARCH button. This is what it is there for
