Only partially agree to that. It were mainly 2002 and 2004 which I'd consider boring. 2001 was pretty dominating as well, but I don't consider that season as boring. Main problem was the poor reliability of McLaren and Williams.

Snap.

2001, 2002 and 2004 were the worst (2002 being the nadir of that unsavoury trio particularly after Austria - although 2004 is a close second, Schumacher won 12 out of the first 13 races apparently...which is something I think I'd purged from my memory). At least there was some semblance of challenge against Schumacher for the other two years (Hakkinen 2000, Raikkonen in 2003).

The Ferrari domination of 2004 was tough to watch, given that McLaren and Williams had slipped back, and BAR and Renault were not really ready to challenge.

2005 was a fantastic season though :)

Same here. The moment when I lost interest in F1. Not really MS fault but the combination of best driver with best car with best engine with best team manager with... and a sudden lack of rivalry at the same time.

Back again!! A fact: while computers exists, lazy users will exist, too!! Good for me!

Awesome news indeed. With the starter perfs now posted, it's a good sign that we'll be going racing soon, and that to me is a good thing.

why am I still on the standard perfs even though I completed one race last season? ;)

Because there is a formula that scales down people's starting perfs to keep the field closer together. I don't know right now how many points you took in that one race (if any), but it wasn't enough to raise your perfs enough to be over the starting perfs, yet. ;)

GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)
I'd like to ask the GPGSL board if I can use a bit similar activity penalty system to this one in my series. Not exactly the same, but a bit similar. ;)

You can, but the penalty system has been discussed many, many times in the past and it's believed the current one works OK. But what do we know? Yours might be better ;-)

On a side note, I thought my S8 performance had shot me up the list, but midfield is cool. Means there's room for improvement!

Gonna be a tough season for ONE, but it wouldn't be fun if it wasn't easy :-)

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
my series is based on drivers spending money and not boosts. So the penalties would be fines instead of perf points/championship points.
It's a bit less harsh too as races are done quicker than here.

Otherwise I had the fine idea that was based on the perf reduction system used by GPGSL so I thought it was the best to ask. :-)
