GPGSL S10 R11: Brazilian Wax Grand Prix - Interlagos [Perfs posted][Seat Vacancy]

Posted by GPGSL
Well, #8 was chosen, so.. my number is #88!!!

One Racing driver and team manager
GPGSL-3: champion in 2007/2013/2014!
GPGSL-4: testdrivers champion in Season 11!
I'd take the 13! Simply because! ;-) And also because my most favorite soccer player in my youth had the 13 and played quite successfully with it.

Guys, sorry for off-topic post, but is there someone interested to join on GPGSL-3? We have one slot for team manager and one slot for driver!!

I'd like to go 4, otherwise 19.
Normally I'd go 19, but in motorsport I much more enjoy the idea of lower numbers, hence I'd go 4 instead
Well in the GP3 league that Rod manages, he actually asked us for numbers and I chose 4, mainly because during 2012, a year in which many significant things happened in my life, 4 was my lucky number according to the Chinese horoscope. And it kinda worked that year.

However, I think I'd choose another if given more time to think. As an engineering student, probably something math-related ;-)

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
3, 4, 5, 7, 19, 29 (Schumacher, favourite soccer player, etc.). Don't care that much though, as long as I get decent results ;)

@John: who was it? Nesta and Ballack are the only ones that come to my mind right now who had the 13.

I know someone who chose his racing number as "pi" in my simulation game, and I even allowed it! ;) if that's what you meant with math-related

Neither nor. It's Karl-Heinz (Kalle) Riedle. Still have my first jersey of him in the cupboard ;-) Champions League final 1997 is unforgotten.

You a Dortmund fan then John?

Personally not a big fan of the number system, but if I had to take one it'd be #69, for the bantz

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
Aye Sir. Ever since.

4 years before I started watching, Champions League final 2001 was one of the first matches I've seen in full length on TV. Salihamidzic & Scholl were my favourite players back then.

Well, most of the craziest numbers aren't integers, but for instance you have #2, not only the first prime number, but the only one of them that is even. :-)

You also have 1729 and 5040 but I don't think we're allowing those ;)

If we choose a personal number (an idea I pretty dislike), I will go for #11.

I would go with #23, favorite number

Reminds me of that guy who chose pi as his number haha ;)

I still love the custom numbers idea, hopefully it makes it to the GPGSL grid aswell soon.

#7 was a nice number despite S9 being a crappy season for me and VSM

My GPGSL Career
I highly doubt we will have personal numbers, I dislike the idea too. I would rather we had numbers based on the drivers previous season's result if any thing. Just thought it would be interesting what numbers everyone would choose and why :)

Love Dan's answer though ;)

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian

Considering my physics background and adding to the nerdiness 137 would be a good number to choose. Or obviously 42 in case it's limited to two digit numbers.

There's a beautiful xkcd comic on this topic, sadly not 100% appropriate for a family forum

used to be GPGSL's Nick Heidfeld
what do you have against personal numbers, they're so cool! ;)

You take it too personal.
