I'll take second, I think my best starting position of the season

A bit disappointed to be honest, couldn't hold pole position.

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
Why am i every time the first driver who drives out :(

GPGSL Test Debut: Melbourne, S9 | GPGSL Race Debut: Sepang, S9
First Pole: Australia/Melbourne, Season 9
First Race Won: Australia/Melbourne, Season 9
We'll take starting from the second row, although I much preferred the idea of a front row lockout, damn Gilson ;)

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
10th and 22nd? WTF?

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian
Dissapointing not to be able to match Stefan's pace, it's been a long time since I've been in top spots, plus I've lost a lot of valuable points. I really need to floor the thing now.

Keep your right foot off the right pedal when you're in your box.

I don't know, but the gaps, especially in the first stint, were quite massive. 3.6 seconds from first to last is quite unusual. And then falling back from 4th to last is quite extraordinary, too. Sure, I couldn't improve cause I was held up, but everybody else improving ... I'm not saying that Greg cheated or did something wrong, but something stinks here.

Agree on that, something seems to be wrong. One or two cars some seconds back due to being held up is possible, but so many? Gap between 1st and 2nd in FP also was very big, especially considering that neither team nor driver boost was used. Might require further investigation.

Main questions are:
1. Has this track version been used previously?
2. If so, how did the sessions pan out back then?

It definitely seems like a track issue as we've not had this kind of thing happen in previous races run by Greg or anyone else for that matter.

Amazing how the RD blew everyone away in the test session too. Just an observation, seen as how questions are being raised.....I would be pretty worried for the individual, if they felt the need to edit the Peres to benefit themselves!! After all, it is just a game....

In season 2 there was a race at Brno, but probably on a different version. See here for the FP results back then, quali is a few post further down, but it was in wet conditions.

The thing that bothers me is that, if it was track related, why wasn't there any spread of times in the FP? If you leave Greg's time aside, everyone was within a second. If drivers would have run off the track in their first runs, I think Greg would have noticed seeing that over half of the field was more than 1s off the pole time. And if it was perf file related, there wouldn't have been improvements in the seconds runs imo.

As for the RD winning, this has happened in the past and will happen in future. Greg has run many races in the past, and let's face it, without him doing it we might well be still in S8 ;). I don't think he did anything wrong, it's rather down to a combination of the variation values and Murphy's Law choosing Greg as the one who profits the most of it. Such a big gap is unlikely, but not impossible.

Not for one minute am I pointing fingers at Greg. Just sensed others were raising it, but not saying it! All good from me. Very easy for any one to trial any scepticism they may have, by running a session or two themselves with the round specific perf. On averages, anyone should see similar lap times over the course of a few mock sessions.

Hmmm, if RDs get great results in sessions they run, I am going to get into Seb, jake and Mathew to run some sessions! Lol

I know I havent RD'ed in a season or two, but next time I have a week off work, assuming we wre in season, I WILL volunteer my services! So, probably sometime in January, feb or march next year.....

Prelude to a triple retirement ;)

My GPGSL Career
There is one slight problem I think needs sorting out, and that is the amount of driver errors taking place. I'm seeing too many cars going off track, and I even saw one car go off multiples times within the space of a lap. Is there any chance to reduce the driver errors while still keeping the same grid? Or would it require a re-run for qualifying?

I'd wager this is what is causing the problem with the varied times - we overestimated the driver error figure for this particular track.
