Hi all , I´ve got a problem with setting the right wheelspositions.
Tryed to solve it with tweaker (reloaded), but cannot solve it.
The settings are nt saved, and cars look like before...
Is there any other tool, that really works?

Greetings from Germany

Enter the values in the tyrepos.ini and save it. ;-)

Try Team Editor 3.5 and click "Apply all changes" then, this should work. Greetings from Germany as well :-)

GP4 Tweaker really works, you just have to use it right.

Are you making a CSM mod, or are you editing GP4 manually? What files have you edited and how?

Thank you for prombt answer. Using no mod, so generally editing cars.wad by hand.
In team-editor the positions once changed are for all the cars . aren´t they- or is it possible to do individuel changinges?

Using TeamEditor you can set individual helmet, t-cam and steering wheel positions, but not tyre positions; there is only one set of tyre positions for all cars. You must use Tweaker to set individual tyre positions.

For that reason, most people use a combination of TeamEditor and Tweaker.

^^ That's pretty much all there is to it. Is that what you've done?

Think, I´ve done it like you discribed. Maybe I´m stupid- but this doesn´t work for me...
Done the changes for each driver in tweaker- applied and started with gpxpatch 4.24.

No fix at all - however, thank you

Which version of Tweaker are you using? As in, where did you download it?

I think that GP4tweaker is not installed correctly. There is an order to install the files:

Installation:
-------------
1. Extract all contents on the archive file into a temporary folder

2. Go to your Windows system folder:

- Microsoft Windows 9x/Me --> C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM
- Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista/7 --> C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 or C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32

3. Backup existing GP4TWEAK.DLL file at Windows system folder, IF ANY (optional, recommended)

4. Put GP4TWEAK.DLL into your Windows system32 folder

5. Copy the gp4tweak-data folder and gp4tweaker.ini file (under "extras/config-template" subfolder from the archive
to your Grand Prix 4 game installation folder

6. Copy GP4_EXE_PATCH.EXE file (under "extras" subdir from the archive) came with the archive
to your Grand Prix 4 game installation folder

7. Run GP4_EXE_PATCH.EXE located on your Grand Prix 4 game installation folder, for example by
double-clicking the file from your Windows Explorer

8. If you get this message:
"GP4.EXE will be patched. Continue and proceed this operation?"
confirmed with YES, otherwise choose NO

It is done. Now, you can edit GP4tweak_Data .ini files and see the results in game.
Edit: Don't forget to enable the .ini files you have modified by editing the gp4tweak.ini file by replacing 0 to 1, otherwise, the changes won't be applied.
