Maxi some years ago made an update version, more historical accurate (grass, ads, kerbs, tarmac....). I'm afraid that this version was avaible only at GP4 Argentina and actually there's no download link (like for Maxi's Buenos Aires 1998).
I could upload it somewhere, but i need Maxi permission.

About Anderstop there was an early WIP from Tony (and maybe in cooperation with Erik) for the WSC 89, but everything is unreleased (mod and track)


PS: i'm pretty sure that Pedro has release a 1981/2 Osterrreichring. Not the same layout, but it's a complete circuit.

Hi. I have a problem with this mod.

Everytime game crashes when loading a gp(loading screen x track) halfway through.
I have tried with and without a trackpack.

Here is a bug report. I am not an expert so any help would be nice.

I always got a CTD while loading this track (see gpxpload log), so I left it out.
But now I have found out what was wrong: it was just using the "Ö" with Name=Österreichring in the tracks settings.ini. It's ok with Name=Oesterreichring.

Thus we have another working track
Perhaps it's not too much work to make a 1975 version of it (permission assumed).
I will edit my tracklist above accordingly.

@ tmlcure ...maybe is the problema two play 2 events in a row..I got that problem, to play a qualify and then a race, try to play qualify, éxit to csm then enter again to the mod and play the race or whatever, maybe is that.

@Tmlcure i've got sometime this prob when i switch of track to another one too.

Looks like you guys have same problem that 1995 mod have for some people. Like in the 1995 mod I look for some bug and don't find... sorry.

About Osterreichring from Pedro: I use this track for all pre-release tests in this mod, maybe the problem is just like petrus said.

Yes, the one from the 1988 trackpack (by cleberpister & plodekk) is also fine. It may even be the better choice, because some details are more accurate than in n00binios silverstone pre-91 (e.g. pitlane layout, grandstands at Becketts and Hangar Straight/Stowe).
However, both tracks do not have the 1975-1986 layout (with the Woodcote chicane) but that from 1987-1990.
See the different tracks in reality in the videos onboard-lap-of-silverstone-pre-1991 and F1 1975 Silverstone GP at totallymotorsport (search for it).

Problem solved, I re-download the mod and is fantastic

Got some spare free time to try it...
Graphically nothing to blame, it's a nice mod, maybe some cars looks too much grounded to the road, but we must remember that there were sikeskirts with ground effect, so cars were stick to the ground.
Maybe i just miss seeing the flap going away from car, but it's good like it is.


1st: please rise up Lella Lombardi performance values at Buenos Aires.... With only 302 in qualify and 800 in race it's a @#$%& slow running chicane to avoid... Rise up her stats will be better (even she doesn't run at Buenos Aires).
2nd: physis seems modern, expecially in braking.... Player is more faster than the others cars, rear wheels should be more heavier (24,5 kg than 13kg)

The good thing is mod is stable for me and works. I suggest to add in first page to let know to others players that this is a LOD_0 only mod.

I just use the 1979 mod physics. I think this physics could be better in the original GP4 circuits. Could you redo it for the tracks released that we can use with this mod? Or phantaman can help too.

i guess it's been passed years since i don't play 1979 mod. Anyway i made a compromise physis with 312T values. Only Revs are different that real. With proper magic data, i guess it's possibile to drive at Buenos Aires in 1.49 (actually the value is 1.53)

This mod is one my dreams come true, the others... still dreaming to drive Montjuic Park & Mosport in GP4, maybe someone is working on it, isn't?
About Performance, In my case and I don't know why, Lella Lombardi becomes the faster driver ever, taking 40 seconds per lap to the 2nd faster!!
She was good, but maybe not at this level...
I didn't found performance file for Lella's March, coud you help me how to do it?
