The "2 race crash" is a common CSM mod bug, it happens to my GP4 Central Mods sometimes as well. I don't think there's anything you can do, I've tried to solve it in the past but it still happens.

I got CSM v 1.26 is there a newer version of that?
TomMK writes that "2 races crash" is a common problem when you use CSM. Well... it's the first time I encounter this
I've played GP4 since 2008, always using CSM, all kinds of mods and stuff... and I never encountered this problem before.

For kerleyf1: i found a bug! If you run the mod selecting the Nurburgring gp, the helmet of Pedro Lamy is wrong. I don't know why, but for some reason appears the 2001 Verstappen helmet, of the original GP4 game.

Well... mortal gave us some useful indication on what the problem could be.
kerleyf1 have you ever tried to see if the problem could be this?

look what in the other 1995 topic and try, because here I don't get this problem.

Tell us the result.

To fix Lamy helmet problem do this:

Go to:
...Infogrames\Grand Prix 4\GPSAVES\Carsets\1995 version 2.21\Data\Helmets

Open the default.ini

Go to the line:

Lamy14 =Silverstone

Change to:

Lamy14 =Nurburgring

--------------------------------------

And go to the line:

13-14 =Lamy\MagnyCours

Change to:

13-14 =Lamy\Nurburgring

--------------------------------------

Hello everone.

From the CSM configurables menu, when i choose FRENCH GP as the grand prix, that "2 races in a row crash" problem does not occur any more.

But when i choose any other grand prixes from CSM configurables (except french gp), the second race or session crashes everytime while loading.

May be this help to find the reason . . .

CSM is not the problem

I install everything manually... etc, always on the second load of any track.... everytrack even from other season made this problem. Its crash. Its happen to me since i use 1995 car files.

I've use only track, skin and 3d model of the car, every helmet is maded by me for a league and they still the same of previous season.... so i might its one car made this problem, wich one i dont know

As this problem do not heppens here on my PC, I suggest other thing: Uninstall GP4 and install it again and install 1995 mod and trackpack again.

Sorry guys, I'm very sad about this error but I really can't see hor to fix the problem.

Maybe the problem has something to do with the missing "Tyrell" folder in Data\Cockpit\Cockpit?

Nah i dont think, everything is ok and may be from CSM its a problem, manual install isnt a problem

Have you ever managed to fix this issue ? The crashes are getting infuriating
