not there yet, I'm only trying to view the car in either GP4Builder (crash) or Zmodeler (no texture)

Wait, no texture in zmodler? Just click on SCO.TGA in material editor, and make sure to put primary texture on. Then load your car texture and it will appear. I had that problem the first time I used the SMD-09 in zmodler until I worked out how to get the texture to appear.

Oh great great great ! :D Thanks Greg, works great now 9:45pm here, so I'll finish the car tomorrow

All good. Looking forward to seeing what Canada's livery will look like. I'm working on China's livery, and hopefully I should have it finished soon.

Afaik the mod only uses the car1 lods, with half of them renamed to car2. So no need to paint the car2 parts. As for the gp4builder problem, the carbon.tga has no alpha channel, if you add one the crashing should stop.

Switzerland reporting for duty! Track... I guess we'd have to nominate Dijon, and put that near the end of the season like GPGSL so we have time for the bug fix to come out!
