How to install Grand Prix 4

There are two ways to install GP4 on your PC - the hard way or the easy way.

The Hard Way

1) Install GP4 from your CD or ISO.
2) Install the Official v9.6 patch.
3) Replace GP4.exe with the Decrypted No-CD GP4.exe.
4) Run the game and configure the graphics, sound and your controller, then exit.
5) Install GPxPatch by SDI Utilities.
6) Run the game again.

The Easy Way

Download the pre-patched version of GP4 from GP4 Central.

The GP4 Central version of GP4 is already patched with the Official v9.6 patch, the Decrypted No-CD exe and the latest version of GPxPatch. You just extract it, and play!

IMPORTANT!!! The first time you play GP4, you should configure the graphics, sound and your joystick / steering wheel. After this is completed, you should exit the game, and then restart it.

Windows 7

Compatibility mode needs to be set to Windows XP SP3.

64-bit only - Disable DEP

Windows 8.1

To be completed.

Compatibility mode needs to be set to Windows XP SP3.

64-bit only - Disable DEP

In f1graphics.cfg set the following line to 0

0 ; [RELEASE] Number of multisamples if available (0-16 :: 0 => off, 1 unused)

Hey guys, I'm back after a few years ! Je je...

I have a new pc (no cd player) and I'd like to start playing and modding again. Tried downloading the game at GP Central and chrome block it.

How can I get the game again? Amazon has it for 40 bucks!
