I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?

The AI is second to NONE, fact, play it and you'll see. I don't think I've ever played a racing game to date that even comes close to how hard the AI attack and defend, not just on the player but to each other too. Accidents between AI happen, not too much and not too little and they make mistakes from time to time. If they hit you it's usually because they've made a mistake, not a glitch. I had Rosberg hit me from behind and it turned out to be he had a brake problem Hands down brilliant.

I thought people were still complaining the ai never overtake or try moves?

100% not true. Honestly, give it a play and see for yourself. I'm not here to try and "preach" it, it's something most people will need to try rather than take the words of others.

I'm back again, but this time with a tale to tell!! It's the final round at Abu Dhabi and I'm racing as Vettel starting second on the grid.


Coming towards the end of lap 1 and I'm just keeping up with Lewis.


Rosberg holds third from Bottas and Ricciardo.


Pushing hard over the next few laps.


A train of cars starts to form.


Fronted by Kvyat.


On the second DRS straight I'm alongside Hamilton.


And I'm through.


Lewis stays close and after a mistake a few laps later...


Hamilton takes back the lead.


He leads me to the end of the lap.


And then the beginning of the next.


The sun goes down in Abu Dhabi.


I get closer.


And closer as we hit the DRS zone.


With a good exit from the chicane and DRS, I'm back in the lead!


Lewis keeps fighting, trying to find a way back.


I'm not losing the lead again, focus is on!!


The final corner of a great race and I take the win!


Trophy time! (Raikkonen takes third as Rosberg took a 5 second penalty for causing a collision with Bottas)

That doesn't sound half bad. I had heard they had a decent & aggressive AI this time, but one of the many patches reduced it, making them almost as dull as in previous games. I guess that's not true then?

One patch did yes, but they soon sorted it out again with the latest patch.

Good to know. I'm a bit cautious towards Codies F1, their history and my rather negative experiences with their previous F1 games don't speak for them.

Looking at all the F1 2015 screenshots, I think it's safe to say we need a Grand Prix 5.
Sadly, the chance is too big there won't be one in the near future or ever...

Yeah after one patch the AI where 1,5 seconds slower and i stopped my pro season there.
Yesterday i drove a 10,1 in brasil and was still arround 2 seconds faster, but i used the merc.
I think i'll try to go back to my 2014 Pro Season with Red Bull soon to give the "patched AI" another try
